"Creed"

 

Ainda estou me recuperando! Sly Stallone, não faça isso comigo! haha

 

Se neste ano nostalgia para muitos é "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", para mim foi "Creed". Roteiro de emulação a "Rocky", com a coincidência do destino de contar com Stallone na exata idade e no papel semelhante ao qual Burgess Meredith foi indicado. Algumas locações, o papel de parede da casa, a presença da tartaruga, os míticos temas musicais, os azuis e vermelhos da luta final, são tantas evocações, tanta memória afetiva, tanta memória cinéfila, tudo tão bem empregado nesta nova história por alguém que realmente sabe escrever.

 

Ryan Coogler nem tem 30 anos e possuir tanta segurança ao filmar. "Fruitvalle Station" já havia emocionado, mas esse "Creed" é de matar. Ficou demais! Coisas simples me conquistam como espectador. Como por exemplo a cena em que os atores principais falam que vão comemorar uma vitória, e no corte seguinte lá estão eles, na casa de Rock Balboa,com cara de sono em frente a tv, tomando sorvete Oreo (eu entendo isso muito bem...), e a tartaruga ao fundo (como o passado, como um cartaz)...Coisas pequenas assim. Não precisa ser coisas grandes, como aquele fantástico plano-sequência de não sei quantos minutos, não precisa (Plano-sequência ficou relativamente fácil hoje em dia, tem até em clipe da Anitta). Falarão que tem momentos-clichê. Sim, clichê faz parte da vida, gente. É um espaço onde todos se encontram. O que interessa é que Coogler fez esse filme com o coração, uma coração largo para o mundo, e houve resposta: o filme até agora já colheu 105 milhões de dólares de bilheteria e somando...

 

Não colheu muitos prêmios. Por que será? Para mim é um dos mistérios desse ano. As pessoas citam alguma injustiça com "Carol", que, de fato, é um lindo filme, mas o que dizer da injustiça quanto a "Creed"? Sylvester Stallone nem indicado ao SAG e ao BAFTA o foi - dizem que o screener não chegou...Mas mesmo nos Sindicatos...A montadora carioca, Claudia Castello, poderia ter sido lembrada. A fotógrafa Maryse Alberti da obra-prima "Happiness" não teve nem o nome citado por aí.  Prestem atenção, eu estou citando nomes de profissionais mulheres, porque salta aos olhos que o diretor quis emblematicamente isso. Consultem a ficha desse filme para ver. Não precisa de discurso, cansei de discurso, não aguento ouvir gente falando em "empoderamento feminino" - esta expressão feia. Quero ver mais na prática o que esse cara aqui fez! Colocar a mulherada competente para tomar as rédeas do filme com temática dito masculina. Outra interessante decisão foi substituir a italianada imigrante do primeiro filme pela comunidade negra na vizinhança de Rocky. Coogler não vai longe como diretor, ele já está muito longe, para os seus quase-trinta.

 

Sylvester Stallone, se for indicado, esse "if" que será resolvido na quinta-feira, ganhará o Oscar. Porque é merecido, porque emociona, porque o discurso maravilhoso dele no Golden Globe - "Quero agradecer ao meu amigo imaginário, Rock Balboa" - conquistou a todos, e, porque ele está ótimo no filme. Um crítico de cinema do antigo Jornal do Brasil inventou a piada que Stallone tinha um dos lados do rosto paralisado, ele só não sabia qual. Mas, que se foda!, nenhum mito precisa ser perfeito. Quando a gente gosta de algo de verdade a gente diz sinceramente: é perfeito para mim.

 

Sem dúvida o mais injustiçado filme da temporada. Como sempre acontece. Um dos melhores da temporada.
