Que filme tocante! Fácil, fácil, na minha lista de melhores e injustamente esquecidos da temporada, junto com "We the Animals". Pra todo mundo que não está aguentando mais as pessoas se deslumbrarem com filmes apenas razoáveis como "Bhoemian Rhapsody" ou "A Star is Born", fica a dica de um filme realmente especial. Maravilhosamente bem filmado, maravilhosamente fotografado, e interpretado por não atores vivenciando de novo suas próprias histórias. É documentário, é ficção? É rodeio. É cinema. Abomino. Amo. Como escolher entre 5? Um doc melhor do que o outro. "Minding The Gap" é excelente, justificando a pletora de prêmios e indicações nos festivais e entre os críticos, por todos, Sundance. Conta a vida de 3 amigos que crescem ao redor do skate. Anos e anos de filmagem, uma coisa meio "Boyhood", mas...do meio para o final...há uma revelação, e o tema, de fundo, surge, como um tapa na sua cara. Não sei se ficará entre os 5. Conferi algumas apostas e a maioria o vê, hoje, em uma sexta colocação, ou seja, lutando pela quinta vaga. Em todo caso, estará na minha. Posted January 18, 2019 Members Report Share Posted January 18, 2019 Muito diferente do original: em trama (bastante mais inteligente, diga-se); em cores (tons pasteis, como se eles fossem uma mentira deslavada, uma falsa tranquilidade); em extensão ( duas horas e meia contra 1 hora e meia do original); mas que honram demais o terror italiano, o "giallo", e honram Dario Argento. Tilda Swinton dá um banho! Socorro, ela faz 3 personagens! Aaaaa gente, é demais! Cadê ela em Atriz Coadjuvante, minha gente? Cadê a Maquiagem desse filme no prêmio do Sindicato? A bela canção do Thom Yorke, "Suspirium", está nas semifinais da categoria no Oscar, mas não deve passar. É uma pena. O trabalho de Design de Produção, de Inbal Weinberg ("Três Anúncios para um Crime"), é excelente, dando valor aos pisos dos lugares, e as já mencionadas cores. Está nas semifinais de Maquiagem, e espero que passe. No elenco, Angela Winkler, excepcional em "O Tambor", e aqui também. O Luca Guadagnino é uma enciclopedia de cinema! Perfeito casting. Até a Dakota Johnson está bem. Você pode não dar nada pelo filme até os 40 minutos iniciais, mas, juro, os últimos 25 são absolutamente maravilhosos! Quando Roger Ebert disse que havia beleza no gore de "Suspiria", completando ainda que os pingos de sangue pareciam pinceladas de Pollock, ele não estava brincando. Sua célebre observação de que havia beleza nesse tipo de filme nos abre os olhos de que cinema pode ser mais atmosfera do que história. Imperdível! Admito que não sei oi que fazer na quinta vaga de Roteiro Adaptado, e Montagem. Suspeito que "Bohemian Rhapsody" irá bem, na terça-feira; por outro lado, "Black Panther" não tão bem assim. Essa vitória de "Green Book" contorna os problemas de Peter Farrely em Direção. Acho que o Lanthimous tira a vaga do Mckay, em Direção - embora este tenha sido indicado no DGA. Triste ter que tirar "First Reformed" de Roteiro Original e de Ator....mas é o caminho das coisas até aqui. Depois de ver "Suspiria", não posos acreditar que ele ficará fora de Maquiagem. Claire Foy, a meu ver, ajudada pelo BAFTA, fica com essa quinta vaga de Atriz Coadjuvante, embora eu torça para a indicada no SAG, Emily Blunt, por "A Quiet Place".
