Mas, politicamente, Into the wild não seria um filme liberal demais para a Academia?

Eu gostei tanto da Tilda Swinton quanto do Viggo Mortensen. Eles podem não levar o Oscar, mas merecem suas indicações.

Na verdade eu vi, mas tava me referindo mais a CAMPANHA do filme do que os méritos do filme em si.

Acho que Michael Clayton é o grande injustiçado do dia, tinha tudo para levar uma indicação de elenco (Atonement, Juno e Sweeney Todd tinham lá suas restriçõs a serem indicados no SAG, no big deal) e foi preterido por outros filmes.
Grandes chances do SAG não representar nada na corrida a melhor filme (a não ser se Into the wild e American Gangster tiverem chances de levar o Oscar principal).

Parece que pesou uma restrição a filmes rodados fora dos EUA.

Ressucitaram a Ruby Dee.
E Cate Blanchett duplamente indicada.
(Vanessa Redgrave concorre por uma catgoria de TV, pensei que ia rolar uma dupla pra ela também.)

Acho que Atonement pode não aparecer no SAG por ser um filme inglês e eles volta e meia fazem uma indicação louca (Hairspray?). Juno também periga ser esnobado.
