Fonte: Melhores Do Mundo

  8. Aaron Eckhart Confirms To MTV: Two-Face Will Appear In ‘The Dark Knight’ It’s official. Batman’s definitely got more than one Joker to tangle with in “The Dark Knight.” Of course we all know that Aaron Eckhart is playing famed Gotham City district attorney Harvey Dent in the upcoming flick, and of course we’ve all hoped that means an appearance by one of the caped crusader’s most cunning adversaries, but now we know for sure. “I play Harvet Dent. Harvey Two-Face. They are both in the movie,” Eckhart revealed exclusively to MTV News. Getting much more out of the “No Reservations” star wasn’t easy but he did acknowledge that his favorite scene has yet to be shot. “There are a few scenes I am dying to do. We’ve done a few…but the scene that I really want to do is in October.” So who appears in said scene? Is it Harvey or Two-Face? We coyly asked Eckhart if he’ll be in heavy make-up that day and, responding with a grin, he said, “I don’t know. There might be anger involved. There might be tears. It might be a cathartic day. It might be a lot of love.” Stay tuned. We squeezed a little more Batman info from Mr. Eckhart that we’ll be releasing right here later this week.Lewis Lennox2007-07-15 14:55:47
...OK, the scuttlebutt is that TDK will close ala BATMAN BEGINS with a "Joker Card" type momment. With that said, TDK will be a stand-alone film, like its 2005 predecessor and there will not be a "cliffhanger" ala THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK or THE MATRIX RELOADED. Also, BOF has been told that nothing is being filmed for a third, Nolan-directed Bat-Film along with TDK...
  10. Mais notícias... Details on The Dark Knight Tie-Ins Source: batman205 July 12, 2007 A licensing sheet for The Dark Knight was recently posted online, but a lot of the text was too small to read. Now, 'batman205' has given us the scoop on just what it said. Here's Warner Bros.' plans for "The Year of the Bat": - A direct-to-video anime-style series that takes place in the time period between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and further explores the Batman legend. - Multi-platform videogame inspired by The Dark Knight. - Extensive consumer products range to support both the new film and classic Batman brand. - DC Comics will publish an extensive range of material surrounding The Dark Knight including a comic book adaptation of the film, coffee table books, children's activity books and more!
  11. Do Batman-On-Film: * Friday, (Christian) Bale will film scenes as his Bruce Wayne character with Rachael and in the suit as Batman. * Some of these scenes are in the Wayne Penthouse bedroom and some on the adjoining rooftop, the XXXXXXX BUILDING. * There will be interaction between members of the GPD SWAT unit and Batman and another character as well. * Also Lt. Gordon (Gary Oldman) will be on hand for a rooftop scene with The Batsignal. * Next week filming of a big car chase scene begins filming. * Oh, and Anthony Michael Hall is not someone created for the film (like "Rachel Dawes"). His character is from the comic books and is rather well known. I know you don’t do spoilers, so let’s just say he seems to be good, but is really bad, or it could be the other way around -- it's quite the "mystery." The fans will definately get a kick out of his appearance in the film!
I just got back from the set of The Dark Knight with TONS of new info! My friends and I, being Chicago locals, undertook a mission to find the filming location for today. I've walked miles around Chicago; I've been up for 34 hours straight; I'm sore and tired from standing all day, but it was worth every moment. We struck a deal with the crew on set, they would let us stay close around filming with a fare amount of freedom, as long as we didn't take photos and such. It was a deal worth it's weight. Warning right now, serious spoilers ahead! The filming took place in the River North area of Chicago at a location I won't specifically disclose. No filming was outside, it all took place in a seedy-looking bar in the area. We were wondering who would show up for the scene. Bale? Ledger? Oldman? We had no clue. Especially with those damn throw-off trailers labeled "faux batman" and "scarecrow double". To our suprise the featured actor was Harvey Dent himself, Aaron Eckhart. This was discovered only after 5 hours of waiting. I also saw prop weapons being brought out to the set, so this scene would be violent. He and Christopher Nolan were the first to enter the set. But Aaron was strangley covered in a black, hooded cloak that covered his face, but it was still easy to tell it was him. They remained in the bar for an hour or so, then Eckhart left and returned in his costume, a gray suit and red tie, but he still had the cloak on and his face covered. We were basically the only bystanders around, and a very high-up crew member told us that Aaron was covering his face be cause he was in his Two-Face make-up! So we will definitely see Two-Face in TDK, no doubt. We were also told that another scene would shoot today involving a chopper and car explosion. They gave us the Exact location! Great stuff. Along with Aaron, a few other veteran actors were also there playing cops. Nolan and crew were very tedious. They did take after take for hours on end. Nolam is a perfectionist to a near fault, it would seem. A Chicago police officer later disclosed to me that one of the cops would be murdered inside the bar by Two-Face. This makes me think the scene must be one of the last in the film. After more hours of shooting Eckhart exited the bar, hooded, but his left side was now facing me, unlike before. I got a decent view of what the Two-Face costume looked like! I couldn't see his face all that well, but his scarring was evident. It looked pretty realistic, but none the less grotesque with boils forming on his skin from face on down. There were also stains of what looked like blood and acid staining down the left side of his suit. In all, he looked pretty gnarly. And really worked, but I'm guessing this isn't his final look. In the down time I talked more to the higher-ups in the crew who were amazingly forward the new info. I was told that more huge action sequences will be film late in the summer with the involving lots of car chases and explosions, and bats flying around. Here's another highly juicy tidbit. The crew member specifically named the Batmobile and the Jokermobile being involved. I'm not paraphrasing, his exact words were "JOKERMOBILE". It WILL be in the film. We also asked if it was at all possible if we could get an autograph form Eckart and Nolan. They said no to Eckhart because he would still be in Two-Face make-up, and they were obviously trying to keep that a secret. But he said Nolan is a really cool guy and would most likely do so, especially for us since we were the only fans there and we had been there since late last night. After more grueling hours of filming, the promise was made good. We didn't just get an autograph handed to us via personal assistance, the man himself asked to see us personally! Mr. Nolan was an incredibly humble man. He signed DVD's of Mememto and Batman Begins for us, and we talked for awhile and he thanked us for coming out. Thanking us for this rare privilage? What a guy! Don't believe me? Well... ..there ya go! I was amazed at how nice of a guy Nolan was. He's a class act fellow and deserves everything he has. He even agreed to take that picture without so much as a thought. After meeting him, I will personally say that anyone who questions his skill, ability, or personality is an ***hole, and I'll punch them in the throat. This guy obviously understands Batman and appreciates fan devotion greatly. Meeting him was the best moment in my life. I actually know even more than I'm writing here, but the is intrusting me to keep the details under wraps, in turn ensuring me that I'll get to be close to even more shoots and inside knowledge. I may have even said too much here. NoirMan out.
Bem, de um anônimo que enviou ao SuperHeroHype (contém spoilers) The scene is a fundraiser for Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) and it was in the lobby for either a hotel of some sort or of Bruce Wayne's mansion. First part of the night was Eckhart coming in from an elevator and making his entrance. Michael Caine was there and filming his shot for a good three hours. After that was done, then it was Batman's turn. He came in out of a helicopter with a hot model on each side, he truely knows how to make an entrance. But the big news is THE JOKER IS CRASHING THE ****ING FUNDRAISER. Yessireebob, you read that correctly. He is going to make an entrance (hopefully involving the breaking of a window or two) and 'crash' the party.Seems like Joker has as much of a beef with Dent as he does with our friendly Batman. Joker's issues with Dent are further evidenced in another scene, which Lurker says went a little something like this: Tonight was an outdoor scene with Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent doing a political ad that was to be played on a TV in the background during the movie. Since there would be no audio of it in the movie, he was screwing around and yelling random stuff like he was going to go to Washington D.C. and to bring us Grilled Cheese sandwiches. He was a riot. Then it was back to the condo scene [Ed. note: referenced above]. I. saw. the. JOKER! He comes out of an elevator with 4 or 5 of his masked minions, two with actualy plastic masks and guns, and the others had painting on their faces. The Joker does not look as grotesque as he did in the photo on the harveydent site. He has long hair with green highlights in it, he was wearing a long purple jacket with a blue sport coat under it, purple gloves and I regret to say I forget the color of his pants. But anyways, he comes in shooting and people are being hurt and killed left and right, he's looking for Harvey Dent (his first line says so). As Joker is hitting people along the way (he's slapping extras!), comes in Batman in that new suit that was in Entertainment Weekly this week. They fight, it's all long and drawn out and during this, JOKER DOES HIS LAUGH. It was high pitched, unique and really badass. Not exactly like Nicholson's, but who the hell can pull that off? It was awesome, just leave it at that. After all that, the Joker grabs Rachel (Maggie Gyllenhal) and begins his escape.
  14. ‘Spawn’ Star Takes A Gamble On ‘Dark Knight’ Role If you’ve got a few extra bucks lying around, you might want to consider sending a nice sympathy bouquet to burly rapper/actor David Banner. And if you’re really swimming in the dough, you should also send a “New Beginnings Hydrangea Plant” to “Spawn” star Michael Jai White. Why? Because only one of the two are hanging out in Gotham City these days. After last month’s minor media sensation (which you may have read about here), here or perhaps here), MTV News once again has the exclusive on David Banner’s quest to “smack Batman in the face.” Long story short: He didn’t get the part. Over the weekend we visited the Chicago set of “The Dark Knight,” the currently-filming sequel to “Batman Begins”…and what we saw is looking really, really good. Keep checking back for more about that in the weeks to come, but while there we caught up with producers Emma Thomas and Chuck Roven, who confirmed that Banner’s much-heralded audition hadn’t landed him the role. Instead, the role of “Gamble” has officially gone to Michael Jai White, the muscular martial artist/stuntman/actor best known for roles in such films as “Spawn” and “Exit Wounds.” Thomas and Roven also cleared up fan confusion over who, exactly, the baddie is, explaining that Gamble is one of several mob bosses attempting to take over Gotham’s streets now that Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson in the first ‘Batman’ flick) is out of the picture. As “Dark Knight” opens, Batman and Jim Gordon must decide whether to focus their energy on aspiring thugs like Gamble, or the homicidal Joker (Heath Ledger), a costumed anarchist bank robber. As best as we can tell (along with sites like this one), Gamble is a brand-new character to the Batman universe, and has never appeared in any DC comic books. The casting of White seems particularly appropriate, considering that the genre favorite has provided voices for several “Justice League” cartoon shows as both Doomsday and Green Lantern. Unfortunately, the overly-excited David Banner most likely found the casting decision slightly less exciting than some Batman fans - but with two other movies on the horizon, we’re thinking he’ll be just fine. “The Dark Knight” is currently filming in Chicago under the alias “Rory’s First Kiss.” Featuring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and newcomers Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger, the flick will continue filming in the windy city until early November, with additional work to follow in London and Hong Kong. The flick is due in theaters July 18, 2008. Fonte MTV
  15. Declaração de Christian Bale nesta semana: "The script leaves room for a very interesting follow-up, too," Bale says of the potential for a third film. "I think we could take it somewhere else."
