Lembro dele no Oscar falando sobre os indicados em filme estrangeiro ele dizendo que o filme de Haneke era frio.

Deu uma mexida na corrida.

Eu vi o filme do cavalinho de Spielberg e apesar de algumas ressalvas ao filme, algumas tantas, por sinal, vai ser bem dirigido e esteticamente bem realizado na puta que pariu (com o perdão do termo). E se for pra indicar filmes genéricos como 90% dos que vi da temporada é melhor indicar Spielberg mesmo, pelo menos o filme tem cada tomada de encher os olhos.

Eu não vi nenhum dos filmes premiados da Sally Field, mas admito que acho ela ótima na série Brothers & Sisters.

Eu não descartaria o nome de Michelle Williams. E George Clooney não me parece tão certo assim não, seu mui amigo Brad Pitt parece que vai estragar a festa. Por sinal, acho que tudo conspira a favor de Pitt.

Eu até gostei de Hilary naquele Conviction que é bem fraquinho.

So falta Hilary Swank reaparecer.

Embora não tenha absolutamente nada a ver com Oscar, minhas expectativas estão com a nova parceria Isabelle Huppert e Michael Haneke.

Odiei Bridesmaids, mas com todas minhas forças. É uma versão feminista de Se Beber não Case, filme que também tenho nojo. E só de ver Melissa McCarthy e Jonah Hill citados em prêmios, me dá asco. O pior é que entre as coadjuvantes mais lembradas, ainda tem Octavia Spencer e Janet McTeer que não me desceram bem. Enfim, acho que o estouro da boiada este ano foi bem pior.

E esse novo Reitman só me chama atenção mesmo pelo elenco, to meio cansado já do formato Reitman de filmes. Acho bom também ficar de olho em On the Road.

War Horse foi considerado filme britânico, por essa eu não esperava.

Vi ontem um filme bacana chamado Beautiful Boy. Maria Bello não sendo considerada aos prêmios da temporada é um acinte.

Não me surpreendi muito, todos sabemos que nos prêmios de crítica podem até surgir opções menos óbvias, mas quando chegamos nos sindicatos e Oscar, quase sempre são preservados o conservadorismo e as obviedades.saulomeri2012-01-03 17:00:37

Dos principais cotados achei Drive incrivelmente melhor, seguido por Meia-noite em Paris, Super 8 e Beginners. Arvore da Vida, Warrior, Ides of March, Moneyball pra mim são bons filmes, mas acho ser exagero suas cotações a prêmios. Já The Help e We Need to talk about Kevin achei bem ruim mesmo. Assisti o muito bom Margin Call. Filme bem coeso e sem rodeios, limpo e sóbrio. Muito interessante. E mais uma piada da temporada: Jonah Hill indicado a premios e Jeremy Irons não.

Eu já achei We Need to talk about Kevin um horror. Nem Tilda salva o filme, e os rapazes pra mim geraram aquele humor involuntário, coisa meio canastrona, especialmente o Kevin adulto. Vi agora três das mais cotadas, Glenn, Viola e Tilda e por enquanto, não tenho achado o nível lá muito excelente. Moneyball eu achei agradável, bem realizado e tudo mais, mas pensá-lo como um dos melhores do ano, é um certo exagero.

Eu apostaria hoje em Hazanavicius, Payne, Spielberg, Scorsese e Mallick nesta ordem.

Pra mim, Le Artist até agora não ganhou Oscar algum. Primeiro que os principais prêmios de crítica ele dividiu com outros filmes como Hugo, The Descendants e The Tree of Life, ou seja, não fez uma faxina como muitos nos anos anteriores. Nas indicações que já saíram, Critics Choice, SAG e GG, ele foi indicado com outros desses. Não sei, por hora, a indicação é óbvia, mas a vitória ainda está longe.

E War Horse estreou muito bem, pelo menos no que eu imaginava, $ 15mi em dois dias apenas. Me lembra o caso de True Grit ano passado, que acumulou inúmeras indicações e apesar de ter passado quase despercebido nos premios da crítica, teve uma forte bilheteria.

Ontem eu vi We Need to talk about Kevin. Filminho meio vagabundo, por sinal. Praticamente não gostei de nada. E Tilda é uma atriz maravilhosa, mas nem ela salva o filme.

Acho dificílimo ser lançado comercialmente por aqui, mas recomendo que vejas, é espetacular. De muito longe o melhor filme que vi este ano, ano passado, e não vou ficar voltando os anos...
