  "Elysium", primeiro filme do sul-africano Neill Blomkamp desde que foi indicado ao Oscar por "Distrito 9" (2009), está sendo mantido sob sigilo absoluto.
A Folha adianta os primeiros detalhes sobre o personagem do ator brasileiro Wagner Moura na ficção científica que estreia no Brasil em 20 de setembro.
Moura interpreta Spider, uma mistura de revolucionário, hacker e contrabandista de humanos: ele transporta pessoas ilegalmente para Elysium, um "paraíso" construído na órbita terrestre onde moram os ricaços do futuro.

Nesta Terra do futuro, ficam apenas os trabalhadores e quem não tem condição de pagar pela viagem.
Matt Damon faz Max, um operário que precisa alcançar Elysium na tentativa de salvar a própria vida, e Spider é sua única saída.
Alice Braga vive Frey, uma amiga de infância de Max. Os dois foram criados juntos em um orfanato, mas seguiram caminhos diferentes. Frey realizou o sonho de virar enfermeira e teve uma filha. Quando reencontra Max, anos depois, antigos sentimentos voltam a assombrar a mulher.

As imagens foram obtidas com exclusividade pela reportagem da Folha.
"'Elysium' é sobre diferenças sociais", diz Moura. "Meu personagem é meio que um líder dos excluídos, mas passa longe da ideia romântica do revolucionário bonzinho."
Chamado por Blomkamp depois que o diretor assistiu a "Tropa de Elite" (2007), Moura não recebeu pressão para disfarçar o sotaque em sua estreia em Hollywood.
"Neil procurou um elenco multicultural. Talvez reforce as teorias de globalização e de exclusão. Ele nos estimulava a improvisar coisas que reforçassem essas identidades", explica o ator.
"Não está explícito que Spider é brasileiro, mas eu agi como se fosse."

“This was a tough one,” say showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss about the casting. “The Red Viper is sexy and charming, yet believably dangerous; intensely likable, yet driven by hate. The boys love him, the girls love him, and he loves them all back. Unless your last name is Lannister. We found a fellow who can handle the job description and make it seem effortless. He wasn’t easy to find and he won’t be easy to stop.”
HBO hasn’t yet announced its Comic-Con plans, but if you’re headed to San Diego, it’s safe to assume Thrones will have a presence this year. Game of Thrones returns in 2014.

  On Monday night, we finally met their mother.

For eight seasons on the hit CBS sitcom, Ted Mosby (played by Josh Radnor) has been telling his children, in one long flashback, the story of How I Met Your Mother. At the end of Monday's penultimate-season finale, the title character was revealed. 

To find out which actress stepped into the long-awaited role, keep reading. Spoilers ahead! 

The plum gig went to Cristin Milioti, a 27-year-old actress who hails from Cherry Hill, N.J. She appeared at the very end of the episode, holding a yellow umbrella and buying a train ticket to Barney and Robin's wedding, where she will meet her future husband this fall in the show's ninth and final season.

Milioti may be best known in theater circles, although she has had notable roles on TV and in the movies. Below, check out five things to know about television's most sudden star. 

1. She earned a Tony nomination for her starring role in Once. 
A self-described "band nerd" in high school, Milioti got into musical theater, eventually landing the lead role of Girl in the Broadway version of the 2006 film Once. She learned the piano in 10 days before auditioning, spoke and sang the role entirely in a Czech accent, and got a Tony nomination for her work. She also decided not to see the film until after she finished her run in the role earlier this spring. 

2. She once channeled Paris Hilton on 30 Rock. 
This isn't her first fun TV role. She played a ditzy blonde on 30 Rock in 2011, and drew inspiration from a certain heiress. "When I tried out, I kind of instantly got the joke," she told theHuffington Post. "I watched all these interviews with [Paris Hilton], and I just thought, that voicehas to be fake."

3. She's married to Leonardo DiCaprio. 
In the movies, that is. Milioti plays DiCaprio's first wife – a hairdresser in Queens in the '80s – in the upcoming film The Wolf of Wall Street. "It was insane, because I tested with Leonardo and Martin Scorsese the day before the [2012] Tony Awards, and I made the choice not to tell anyone," she told Theater Mania. "Then I found out I got the part the day after the Tonys. It was a great week." 

4. She has one big thing in common with Carrie Bradshaw. 
Like the Sex and the City character, Milioti likes guys who can build furniture. As of last year, she was living with Brooklyn furniture maker Jesse Hooker, who specializes in reclaiming materials from around New York City. Their Bushwick apartment was even featured in architectural magazines. "Everyone says 'It's so Carrie and Aidan " she told the Daily News. “He makes beautiful stuff. Tables, seating, and all from reclaimed material. We are not for want of furniture." 

5. For someone who talks for a living, she mangles phrases constantly. 
"The other day I was chatting with my boyfriend," she told Theater Mania, "and I said to him, 'He really sold him under the bus.' And he said, 'I think you meant "threw him under the bus," or "sold him up the river." ' … It's a constant problem. On my first date, my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to eat a la carte, and I said that I would prefer to stay inside! It's really embarrassing."

Não vou revelar nada, apenas que creio ser impossível ver algo melhor nesse ano de 2013. É o tipo de filme que vai onde você não espera e de forma sublime, tem uma estrutura diferente e é o que o torna original. Parecido com o recente "Terapia de Risco" em função de nunca sabermos para onde o longa irá caminhar, mas felizmente não traz reviravoltas que diminuem sua ambição. Provavelmente terá muitos detratores, mas assim como Arvore da Vida é um filme ousado que até o maior dos detratores terá de afirmar que viu ao menos uma tentativa de algo cada vez mais esquecido: Cinema. 5 estrelas em 5.

Aproveitando a estreia da segunda temporada da série de TV The Walking Dead, abro o tópico pra falar sobre as HQs que deram origem ao seriado. Iniciada em 2003, a publicação é escrita por Robert Kirkman, e está atualmente no volume 89. O volume 90 tem lançamento programado para o dia 26 deste mês.
 
 
 

 
 
 
A estória centra-se em Rick Grimes, policial de uma cidadezinha que, após ser baleado e ficar em coma, acorda para descobrir que o mundo foi tomado por zumbis. Primeiro, ele precisa entender o que se passa, para depois se colocar em busca de sua família.
 
 
 
The Walking Dead teve grandes momentos ao longo de sua existência, tendo inclusive um vilão antológico, que eu torço pra que apareça na TV tb. Outro arco marcante foi "Fear the hunters", bem mais pra frente. Atualmente, a fórmula dá mostras de estar cansada, com bastante repetição, mas há pelo menos 70 edições que merecem ser lidas.
