A atriz Nicole Kidman está grávida de seu primeiro filho, diz revista

Segundo informações da revista "National Enquirer", Nicole Kidman pode estar grávida de Keith Urban, com quem a estrela planeja se casar.

Nos bastidores de Hollywood, circulam rumores de que o cantor country australiano seria o pai do filho que a atriz espera.

Enquanto o casal não leva adiante a cerimônia - que seria numa festa simples e fechada para amigos íntimos e familiares, em Fiji ou na Austrália -, fontes de um jornal do Tennessee garantem que Kidman já estaria com alguns quilos a mais e uma pequena barriga já é notada.

Eu gostei da atuação da Nicole em Bewitched, mas o filme é muito fraco... Quanto a gravidez, nada se preocupar quanto a Lady from Shangai, o filme poderá ser lançado somente nos próximos anos, Wong Kar Wai, é um diretor demorado e lento, 2046, seu último longa demorou quase 5 anos para ser filmado e finalizado. A Nic filmará aos poucos. Já o projeto do Noah, tomara que seja só depois de Headhunters...

A Nic tem muitos projetos em andamento vcs naum acham, será que ela não está exagerando, ela não descança nunca. Em junho começa Ten Thousand Horses, enquanto isso ela pode filmar algumas partes de The Lady from Shangai e após, ou ela faz Headhunters, que está com o roteiro quase sendo pré-finalizado ou faz o do Noah...

Saiu no Cinema em Cena:

(11:47) Wong Kar Wai decidiu adiar as filmagens de The Lady from Shanghai para 2007. O cineasta preferiu rodar antes Blueberry Nights, filme que também será falado em inglês.

Nicole Kidman e sua melhor amiga Naomi Watts teriam tido uma briga feia. Segundo o site Sky Showbiz, desde que Naomi passou a ter papéis tão importantes quanto os de Nicole, a relação entre as duas começou a azedar.

Amigos em comum das duas estrelas australianas contaram ao site que, de uns tempos para cá, elas mal se vêem e teriam mesmo cortado relações, depois de uma briga séria, ocorrida há um mês.

Nicole Kidman narra outro documentário:

Australian actress Nicole Kidman has been named as the narrator of a feature-length documentary about the live of Holocaust survivor and Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal.

Wiesenthal, who died in September aged 96, survived five Nazi concentration camps and seven other prisons to devote his life to tracking down suspected Nazi war criminals.

He had lost 89 relatives during the war, subsequently becoming a voice for the six million Jews who died as victims of Hitler's Final Solution.

The Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center has started production on the film which will feature interviews with Wiesenthal associates, government leaders, friends and family members.

THE light-hearted working title has been Project Oklahoma.

But the director Baz Luhrmann has confirmed that his next film, which will star Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, is not another Moulin Rouge.

"It's not a musical," he said with a laugh yesterday.

"And it's not Oklahoma!"

Speaking publicly about the film for the first time, Luhrmann described it as a "classic romance that uses the sweeping landscape of Australia" and runs from the mid-1930s to the bombing of Darwin during World War II.

Filming will start in August at the latest, to beat the wet season in northern Australia, with backing from the Hollywood studio 20th Century Fox.

After the postponement of Alexander the Great, Luhrmann said his first film since Moulin Rouge would be comparable in scale to Gone with the Wind and Giant. "My motivation is not to do it [with computer-generated images]," he said.

"It's to go the Lawrence of Arabia road and take two of the world's most extraordinary actors - more than two - to some of the most extraordinary scenic landscape in the world.

"We're going to do what David Lean did. He shot in Wadi Rum [in Jordan]. We'll be shooting in the Kimberleys."

Luhrmann said Crowe and Kidman were passionate to make "something at home, for home", especially after their aborted plan to work together on Eucalyptus.

"We've talked about it for over seven years, that we must do something together in Australia. We're in the extraordinary place now where we can do that.

"Because you've got two Oscar-winning actors, you can actually make a film at a scale that you could never do for an Australian film before."

While not commenting on the budget, Luhrmann said there was widespread enthusiasm for putting the Australian landscape on screen.

"People understand they can really show the country to the world through a big emotional film with these two actors."

One key role being cast is an indigenous boy aged between seven and 13.

"We've got people all over Australia looking," Luhrmann said.

Nicole Kidman has slammed press reports she will marry country music star Keith Urban in Australia next month.

Stories surfaced last week that the celebrity couple had sent out invitations for an 11 March ceremony in Sydney.

However, Kidman's Australian publicist Wendy Day says, "Everything about that story is nonsense.

"Nicole Kidman is not getting married to Keith Urban at a Catholic church in Sydney on 11 March. I know of no wedding. I know of no wedding date. I know of no wedding plans."

According to Day, Kidman will be presenting an Academy Award on 5 March and has no immediate plans to return to Australia.

Day adds, "She is starting work on a new film in upstate New York in early April."

Kidman and Urban have been dating for the past year and made their first official public appearance at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles earlier this month.

JR: And what can you tell us about this movie with Nicole that you’re looking at doing?

RC: Well I can tell you that Baz Luhrmann is a genius and I shall follow him into the desert [ saying this in “magnificent” tones and lifting his arm up in salute ] . And what’s also cool is they worked out this movie should cost about $180 million if anyone else was doing it. If everyone got paid full whack and if any of the current crop of directors in America were doing it, they’d be looking at $180 million to do it. But it’s a point of pride with Baz he is trying to bring the budget to $125 because he believes that we should be able to do it cheaper and smarter and therefore more efficiently and that’s a point of pride for him and so until he actually works out a way to bring the budget to that point, we don’t actually have any dates yet, but you know…

RW: $125 of their’s or ours?

RC: Theirs. It’s the biggest budget Australian movie ever made with an Australian thematic (?) as the story and Australian characters.

KS: You said all along you’ve wanted to work with Nicole for so long. Is there going to be a love scene? Is it going to be difficult for you two?

RC: umm… [ smiles ] .. No, it won’t be difficult. As you know I’ve got one child with another one on the way and I know where all the bits are. Thanks Karl! [laughs] But the wife’s watching this morning so I think I’m right..they are taking all the love scenes out Karl.

RW: You insisted?!

RC: Last time I looked ..all the kissing ..all the other stuff … it’s like.. cut to waterfall! Crashing waves

RW: So $125 million. That’s about $160 million Australian dollars.

RC: Is that exactly?

RW: Something like that. We’ve got the boss here - Eddie will have his calculator out. [cross to shot of boss watching in the wings ] . .. It’s a big budget film isn’t it!

RC: Yes it’s magnificent.

RW: We’re going to see some big budget stuff on the screen.


RC: Well look. When Baz said he was going to make a movie about “Strictly Ballroom” did you imagine it was that? Right? When he said he was going to make a remake of “Romeo and Juliet” did you ever possibly imagine it was going to be that? And when he said he was going to do a musical set in Paris, “Rooooxaaannnnee” ..did that come to mind? I mean, what he is going to do with the genre with this big romantic set piece I can’t wait to be involved.

JR: So it will be like an Australian “Gone with the wind”?
RC: That was his hook line for me and Nicole. [laughs] I’m not sure he really wanted that hook line to go out around the world like it did but you know ..it’s a pretty good line.

RW: So you’d say “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a …. “

RC: It’s probably going to be S***t though isn’t it.

RW: Yes I pulled up short.

RC: The boss is here, the boss is here. He knew the punch line was coming. You set me up! [laughing]

RW: The boss has just left.

KS: Is that all right Eddie!

RC: It would have to be Australianised is what we meant.

RW: It’s exciting. It really is exciting.

RC: C’mon we’ve got bloody in the ads now. Let’s face it.

RW: Mate, you and Nicole got close to working together in Eucalyptus. That didn’t happen but this is something you kind of wanted to do for a long time.

RC: This was in place before Eucalyptus. Eucalyptus came up as a separate thing which ..umm..Baz was probably quite pleased that noone had stolen his thunder you know. We’ve been talking about this with Baz for a long time. But as I said, the scale of this thing is gigantic. What he is trying to achieve is gigantic. The parts of Australian history he talks about in the movie - because I’ve read the script and it’s by Baz and a young Australian writer called Stuart Beattie - and these are just bits of our history of our growth as a nation that we just don’t know about. The 64 bombing raids on Darwin, the amount of people who died and the destruction and what the plan was should the Japanese actually invade. And all these things are not really part of our national psyche. He’s picked a great area of our history with a great backdrop. Not only do you have the outback and the loneliness of the outback on that time but you also have bombers in the air over an urban centre so it’s a great juxtaposition.

KS: Great talking with you. And you’ll be back singing another song shortly.

RC: Cool

The Visiting adiado para 2007 pela Warner

Warner Bros. has switched two of its genre-films, slotting The Reaping for a US August 11 release and pulling The Visiting out of that date and back into 2007.

The Reaping is the latest from Dark Castle Entertainment, directed by Stephen Hopkins and starring Oscar winner Hilary Swank as a former missionary who now spends her life debunking religious phenomena—until she arrives in a Southern town suffering from what appear to be the Biblical plagues.

The Visiting stars Academy Award winner,Nicole Kidman, in the tale of a woman trying to save her son and society in general from an alien plague that alters people’s behavior. New James Bond actor, Daniel Craig will co-stars.
