ALIÁS, é triste perceber que a expansão das vagas vai beneficiar a vários campos: animação (up), sci-fi (avatar), materiais mais violentos (basterds); mas os estrangeiros vão continuar tão renegados quanto antes. Roteiro também, e só, não vejo mais prêmio nenhum. Sobre a categoria feminina, em "Nine" pelo menos só tem briga da Cruz e Cottilard, e isso antes, porque agora não vejo muita chance não. Members MacGruber Posted December 31, 2009 Author Members Report Share Posted December 31, 2009 pulp fiction concorreu 15 anos atrás, numa época em que a academia dava total preferência a coisas como titanic, o paciente inglês, coração valente e o próprio forrest gump que ganhou naquele ano. a academia de hoje, por mais reclamações ainda que se tenha, premiou esquisitices como onde os fracos não têm vez e slumdog recentemente, e acrescentou 5 vagas a categoria principal - o que mostra a força que a parte jovem já exerce lá dentro. nessa nova realidade, acho que basterds tem MUITO mais chances do que pulp fiction teve em sua época. além disso, todos os grandes adversários (up in the air, avatar, the hurt locker, precious) têm seus poréns.Jonny Greenwood2009-12-31 14:45:12 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Poland says: When I first saw the film, the remote possibility of Ms. Saldana getting a nomination for her performance was tantalizing. I rationalized that Sigourney Weaver’s turn, part CG and part human, was more likely to be the breakthough nomination. But I have been struck by how many people, Academy members included, have remarked on the emotional weight of Saldana’s performance holding the movie together. She is both very physical and very raw emotionally… something we have not really seen since Ms. Weaver in Mr. Cameron’s Aliens. And Wells: I’ve been feeling more and more persuaded over the last couple of weeks that Zoe Saldana deserves a Best Actress nomination for her motion-capture performance as Neytiri in Avatar.
