Members Jefferies Posted December 3, 2009 Members Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Acho que tirando os 10 da lisa e mais uns 5, o ano de 2009 foi descartável porque me pareceu que os executivos de Hollywood só pensavam em dinheiro. Tomara que ano que vem seja um ano melhor. Sobre os vencedores, é mesmo surpreendente que "Precious" tenha ficado de fora em quase todas as categorias. E se continuar nessa toada, "Up in the Air" vai ser o "Milionário" deste ano. Dois destaques: primeiro, pelo prêmio de roteiro original para os Coens, pra mim os favoritos nesta categoria. Members Administrator Posted December 3, 2009 Members Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Is Hans Zimmer someone to watch for ‘Sherlock Holmes?’ Posted by Kristopher Tapley · 8:51 am · December 3rd, 2009 I’ve been hearing from vested interests for a long time now that Hans Zimmer’s score for Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” is something quite extraordinary. I haven’t paid a lot of mind because it’s all jockeying for position and putting your best foot forward this time of year, etc. But the chatter is getting louder lately as more and more people see the film in-house. It’s the one element that keeps being brought up and I have to wonder if there might be something to this. I have no idea what to expect. Frankly I would have assumed something fairly standard for a film like this, but truly, Zimmer has been doing great work even in films that missed on nearly every other level (like, say, “The Da Vinci Code”). He’s a seven-time nominee after all, despite his flirtations with action-oriented entertainments. So it’s fair to assume we may be in for a pleasant surprise. Não acredito, nem um pouco, na indicação de Where the Wild Things Are, Star Trek, (500) Days with Summer, The Messenger e A Serious Man a categoria principal do Oscar. Além disso, ficou bem indie essa lista, hein? The Messenger, An Education, (500) Days with Summer, The Hurt Locker, A Serious Man. Acho pouco provável. [/quote'] se tem muitos indies, é porque a maioria das "apostas seguras" (bones, nine, o próprio invictus) estão levando tabicadas dos críticos e blogueiros. aliás, the hurt locker e an education são as duas únicas apostas seguras - excluindo up in the air. acho muito prováveis também as indicações de bastardos, a serious man. com avatar podendo surpreender. Beckin Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 Marion já saiu na frente nos elogios... eu ouvi algumas músicas inteiras da trilha sonora de Nine que vazaram, a voz dela é a melhor, assim como uma das músicas que a mesma canta. Ela é o que me dá um pouco de vontade de assistir esse aí... --- Já o David poland não gostou nem um pouco de Nine, escreveu inclusive uma review bem extensa a respeito. Taí algumas partes: Have you ever seen a singer with a great voice and no grasp of the lyrics? That’s Rob Marshall. Nine is a movie with two memorable songs, performances that are routinely better than what the performers were given to perform, a problematically intense but not charming performance at the center, and most painfully, a lack of basic storytelling. He commits from the start to the idea of all of his musical numbers taking place on a film stage… unlike the theatrical stage of Chicago. But it is a terrible mistake. It can be visually arresting at times, but it undercuts every moment where you think you are about to run into a real emotion in the film. Here, only five of the ten songs – the ones sung by Guido, his wife (Cotillard), and his mistress (Penelope Cruz) - really move the story forward. And that’s not the inherent fault of the songs. It is how they are presented. Then there is the problem with the casting… Daniel Day-Lewis, one of the greatest actors of his generation, cannot dredge up the charm necessary for this role Judi Dench is a goddess, but as noted before, the ship was rebuilt to get her onboard and the payoff isn’t worth the damage to its speed. Nicole Kidman is shockingly forgettable; Sophia Loren, with all due respect and decades of lust, is like a Hall of Presidents animatronic mannequin here ; The two super-strong bits of casting here are Cotillard and Cruz. Seguindo a cartilha previsível dessa década, é bom ficar de olho no independente simpático, no musical esnobado, no "político atual", no drama com personagem estranho, no Clint Eastwood da vez, na adaptação de obra literária, em George Clooney e na animação CGI da Pixar (com 10 indicados tenho quase certeza que Up tem alguma chance). Pra variar, os bons filmes lançados antes de agosto estão sendo esquecidos nas premiações (Inimigos Públicos, por exemplo). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
