Fim de Alias?

ALIAS_gross.jpg

O programa E!

*******SUUUUUUPER SPOILER!!!!!!!!*********

Não leia se não quer saber !!

Script pages for Episode 501: "Prophet Five".
ALIAS - EP#E501 - "Prophet Five" - XX/XX/2005 - Rev. White2
EXT. LOS ANGELES - DAY (STOCK)
Aerial shot of the city to establish.

INT. STAFFORD NAVAL HOSPITAL - DAY

Sydney sits in a hospital bed, wearing a standard issue GOWN.
She's distracted, trying to understand the pieces of a puzzle
that don't seem to fit together. So she's not exactly
attentive as DR. PARK, 40's, talks to her.

DOCTOR PARK
Watch yourself over the next couple
of days. Concussions are serious.
Call me if you get headaches, or
feel light-headed...

Sydney smiles politely. But her mind is elsewhere.

DOCTOR PARK (CONT'D)
-- We're running a few tests --
just a precaution. But everything
appears to be normal.

SYDNEY
(what's really concerning
her)
When can I go home?

DOCTOR PARK
Soon.
(then, an order)
But you have to take it easy.

SYDNEY
Of course.

He leaves. Sydney hops out the bed, gathers her CLOTHES.
She wants out -- NOW. There's A KNOCK on the door. Then in
walks GORDON DEAN, 50's, distinguished-looking.

DEAN
Ms. Bristow, how are you feeling?

Sydney doesn't answer, wondering who is he? Reading her,
Dean fumbles in his pocket. Shows Sydney IDENTIFICATION.

DEAN (CONT'D)

Gordon Dean, Office of Special
Investigations.

Sydney realizes he might know something --

SYDNEY
Any word on Agent Vaughn?

DEAN
No, I'm afraid not.
(then)
I hate to do this now, Agent
Bristow, given what you've been
through --

The last thing she wants is to bring Langley into this.

SYDNEY
-- I already called in a report.

DEAN
Yes, I know. I just need you to
clarify a few things. If that's
alright by you?

Sydney doesn't say no. Dean takes out a small PAD and PEN--

DEAN (CONT'D)
In your report, you indicated you
two were going on vacation. You
didn't say where?

SYDNEY
(impatient, but going
along)
Santa Barbara.

DEAN
And you were struck about half way
there.

SYDNEY
About that, yeah.

DEAN
What about before the accident...
did Agent Vaughn seemed anxious,
perhaps... preoccupied?

SYDNEY
He seemed relaxed. We were taking
a few days off.
(off his pad)
You're not writing anything down.

DEAN
(matter of fact)
You're not telling me anything
worth writing.

SYDNEY
I'm telling you exactly what I
remember. If that's not enough...

Dean's tone remains neutral --

DEAN
You two are engaged, isn't that
correct?

SYDNEY
Yes.

DEAN
And you understand that marital
privilege does not trump matters of
national security --

SYDNEY
(eyes narrowing, what is
he suggesting)
Of course I do --

DEAN
Then I ask you to remember where your
loyalty lies--

SYDNEY
-- my loyalty-- my fiancee was
abducted --

DEAN
Perhaps. That's what we're trying to
determine.

SYDNEY
-- wait a minute. What are you
suggesting--

DEAN
--I'm simply asking for your cooperation--

SYDNEY
-- You've had nothing but my
cooperation. But if you're going
to make... accusations, I want to
know what this is about.

Sydney sees that Dean is no longer listening. His eyes are
looking at someone behind her. Sydney turns to see her
father standing in the doorway.

JACK
(oddly conciliatory)
Whatever information you need, my
daughter will be happy to
cooperate. But she's just been
through a traumatic experience --
I'm sure you can afford her some
time.

DEAN
Of course, Director Bristow.
(to Sydney)
We'll talk again soon.

And as he walks out, he nods to Jack.

JACK
Thank you.

Jack nods, as Dean exits. Once they're alone, Sydney turns
to her father: what the hell is going on?

SYDNEY
Dad --

Jack proceeds gently:
JACK
Sydney, when your mother defected,
I spent a year in prison because
the CIA assumed I collaborated with
her.
(then)
Before you say anything that may
implicate you, we need to go over
your story.

SYDNEY
... My story? Dad, what's going on
--
JACK
Vaughn is currently under
investigation. There have been a
number of... "red flags" raised
about his conduct --

SYDNEY
-- What red flags?

A beat. Then Jack admits:

JACK
Langley believes Vaughn may be a
double agent.
(beat)
They think the crash may have been
an extraction.

Off Sydney, reeling:

INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY

Nondescript office decor. No windows. Vaughn sits alone at
a conference table. He's still in bad shape from the crash.
His face is dirty, blood caked all over his shirt.

A door opens. Vaughn looks up to see IVAN CURTIS, 40's, cold
eyes, in the doorway. The same man Sydney saw in the
helicopter. A GUARD enters behind him. Curtis smiles
warmly, as though he's talking to an old friend:

CURTIS
I've been hearing about you for a
long time... It's nice to finally
meet you, Mr. Michaux.

Off that --
