Lost e The Sopranos sim. West Wing eu ainda tenho (poucas) dúvidas.

Best Comedy

Arrested Development

Entourage

Everybody Hates Chris

My Name Is Earl

Scrubs

Although

late' date=' lamented Development still couldn't get arrested in the Nielsens,

comedy remained a laughing matter. Entourage gained confidence, Scrubs

hit a new creative high and the arrival of Earl and Chris boded

uproariously well for the future.

Best Drama

Battlestar Galactica

Grey's Anatomy

Lost

The Shield

The Sopranos

It

pains us not to include 24 and House, but what to bump? Battlestar is

redefining sci-fi, Sopranos killed by shooting Tony, Lost proved

anything but, The Shield went for broke and Grey's established itself

as a top-notch operation.

Lead Actress Comedy

Tichina Arnold, Everybody Hates Chris

Marcia Cross, Desperate Housewives

Lauren Graham, Gilmore Girls

Lisa Kudrow, The Comeback

Mary-Louise Parker, Weeds

Mamma

mia! You don't need maternal instincts to recognize the sharp turns by

Arnold, Parker nad Cross, all of whom hit the mother lode (Cross even

did it as Housewives went to hell). Comeback kid Kudrow gave a tour de

force that no one saw. But once and for all, people, what does Graham

have to do to get a nomination?

Lead Actor Comedy

Jason Bateman, Arrested Development

Zach Braff, Scrubs

Steve Carell, The Office

Fred Gross, Sons & Daughters

Jason Lee, My Name Is Earl

This

category ought to be a study in stark contrasts. Braff was wackier than

ever (Exhibit A: Those red Speedos!); Bateman, remarkably grounded;

Carell, the height of arrogance; Gross, hysterically neurotic; and Lee,

endearingly goofy. Yet they all had one thing in common: They were

indeniably brilliant.

Lead Actress Drama

Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars

Edie Falco, The Sopranos

Mary McDonnell, Battlestar Galactica

Ellen Pompeo, Grey's Anatomy

Kyra Sedgwick, The Closer

While

The Sopranos' Falco gave good grief over Tony's near death, McDonnell

juggled vulnerability and authority as a cancer-striken president.

Playing doctor, Pompeo polarized fans but united critics, and Sedgwick

brought home the bacon on Closer. As for Bell? Get a clue. Her teenage

PI was outta this world.

Lead Actor Drama

Michael Chiklis, The Shield

James Gandolfini, The Sopranos

Hugh Laurie, House

Denis Leary, Rescue Me

Edward James Olmos, Battlestar Galactica

The

Shield's Mackey/Kavanaugh showdown revitalized Chiklis, Gandolfini

brought Tony back to life as The Sopranos wound down, Laurie kept a

(emotionally) messy House, Leary rose to the occasion when his TV son

tragically died, and Olmos wowed with a show of restraing as

Galactica's embattled captain.

Supporting Actress Comedy

Kelly Bishop, Gilmore Girls

Sarah Chalke, Scrubs

Jaime Pressly, My Name Is Earl

Judy Reyes, Scrubs

Jessica Walter, Arrested Development

By

now, Chalke and Reyes have grown into marvelously nuanced comedians,

Bishop earned the right to look down her own nose as the tube's

snootiest socialite, and Walter, of course, remained as intoxicating as

the martinis she swilled as Development's dragon lady. But Pressly? Who

knew? Her take on trailer trash is a treasure.

Supporting Actor Comedy

Donald Faison, Scrubs

John Krasinski, The Office

John C. McGinley, Scrubs

Jeremy Piven, Entourage

Ethan Suplee, My Name Is Earl

Forget

Dwight, Krasinski is The Office's secret weapon. Meanwhile, Suplee

smartly played dumb, Piven made self-destructive hysteria hysterical,

McGinley busted our guts by venting his character's spleen, and Faison

nailed both the physicality and timing required of his role with the

precision of a surgeon.

Supporting Actress Drama

Katherine Heigl, Grey's Anatomy

Sandra Oh, Grey's Anatomy

CCH Pounder, The Shield

Chandra Wilson, Grey's Anatomy

Jean Smart, 24

Grey's

triple threat broke hearts even as their characters mended them, The

Shield's Pounder went toe-to-toe with the big boys (and cut them down

to size), and Smart, as 24's kooky first lady, brightened and lightened

what otherwise would be considered a very harrowing day.

Supporting Actor Drama

Joseph Gannascoli, The Sopranos

Gregory Itzen, 24

T.R. Knight, Grey's Anatomy

Omar Epps, House

Forest Whitaker, The Shield

Vito

came out and Gannascoli came into his own, Itzen revealed that Logan

was less and ineffectual dullard than a sinister baddie, Whitaker gave

Kavanaugh a creepy edge, Epps came to life as Foreman nearly died, and

Knight transformed George from lovesick puppy to almost-dude.

Kristen Bell - amei ela ter sido lembrada. Ela VAI ser indicada a melhor atriz. smiley4.gif

Battlestar Galactica - smiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gifsmiley4.gif (mas acho mais fácil a série ser indicada a melhor série do que a ator e atriz, embora eu adore Olmos e McDonnell.)

Lost - Esqueceram dos coadjuvantes? Piada.

24 Horas - Esqueceram do Kiefer e da série? Pffffff. smiley11.gif

"Crash". Deu no que deu...

E a Felicity Huffman não entra no TOP 5? Sei....
