Acho que um bom motivo pra não comprar o dvd de Elektra é o filme. A não ser que vc tenha gostado. E o melhor é que a Buena Vista lança edições especiais de 60 segundos e Show bar, e a gente fica babando por Pulp Fiction, O sexto sentido, etc... This single-disc (double sided) release will carry both the 1 hour 36 minute theatrical edition, along with an all-new extended edition (runtime to be confirmed). The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras will include an audio commentary, original on-set interviews, a brief question and answer session with Kevin Smith, a making of Mallrats documentary, a blooper reel, a View Askew's Look Back at Mallrats feature, and The Goops "Build Me Up Buttercup". Completing the package will be 'Kevin and Scott's Introduction' and footage of a new cast reunion and Q&A session. We've attached some artwork below. Warner Home Video is jumping the gun on the holidays by announcing the November 8 DVD release of five classic holiday movies, all of them new to DVD. The titles -- "Boys Town," "A Christmas Carol," "Christmas in Connecticut," "The Nun's Story" and "The Shoes of the Fisherman" -- come with an assortment of special features, including vintage shorts, featurettes, period newsreels and cartoons. "Boys Town" (1938), which won Spencer Tracy a Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Father Flanagan, comes with the 1941 sequel "Men of Boys Town," a 1939 newsreel, the vintage short "The City of Little Men" and a promotional featurette on the real-life Boys Town organization. "A Christmas Carol" (1938), with Reginald Owen as Scrooge, includes the shorts "Jackie Cooper's Christmas Party" and "Judy Garland Sings Silent Night," along with the classic Oscar-nominated cartoon "Peace on Earth." "Christmas in Connecticut" (1945), a comedy starring Barbara Stanwyck, includes the vintage Oscar-winning short "Star in the Night." The Audrey Hepburn starrer "The Nun's Story" (1959), which earned eight Oscar nominations, comes with the original theatrical trailer only. The new cut will arrive in shops from the 4th October this year, and should set you back around $19.94 or thereabouts. Three new scenes (totalling 12 minutes) will be included, bringing the runtime to around 144 minutes. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Brian Helgeland and Paul Bettany, 11 behind the scenes featurettes, a HBO Making-of Special, deleted scenes with filmmaker's intros, a music video and production notes. "Batman," "Batman Returns," "Batman Forever" and "Batman & Robin" will be released Oct. 18. They will be available individually and as a gift set, "Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997." Each special-edition DVD features a new digital transfer of the movie. Bonus features include director commentaries by Joel Schumacher and Tim Burton, cast and crew interviews, several new documentaries, "making of" featurettes and nine music videos from Prince, Seal and the Smashing Pumpkins.
