As três últimas sequências trazem o trabalho mais forte que já vi de Denzel, um ator que nunca consegui realmente admirar. Neste ano, há 3 vagas com-ple-ta-men-te (e vou por ênfase no advérbio!) indefinidas somadas a um diferencial: um punhado de candidatas a entrar. O que tem me chamado a atenção é um aparente recrudescimento de "Argo" (parece que empatou com "ZDT" em número de prêmios). Um recrudescimento que coincide com o inacreditável chamamento de Boal para depor no Congresso! A humanidade tem o costume de se socorrer naquilo que não provoca demasiada paixão, naquilo que é indivisivo, naquilo que é mediocremente apaziguador. "Argo" cumpre bem o papel. Ao ver os artistas "caçados" politicamente pela sua coragem intelectual, a minha tendência é torcer muito por "Zero Dark Thirty" e seu ultrajornalismo de ficção. Sim, jornalismo + ficção, com as bençãos de Truman Capote. E só os bizantinos deputados americanos para não perceberem uma coisa dessa. Nosso amigo, Rubens Ewald Filho, não gostou do filme da Bigelow, achou - palavras dele - "muito escuro". Deve ser por que a tal hora mais escura não é ao meio-dia, né, galera?! Fazer o quê... E, desde já, torcendo por "Detona Ralph" ( Esqueceram a vírgula do vocativo?!). Toy Story dos videogames? Beleza. E o resultado? O filme flerta constantemente com o trash sem qualquer vergonha de fazê-lo, e acho que é justamente isso que o torna tão divertido. Charlize Theron pode integrar o elenco de Vício Inerente (Inherent Vice), a adaptação do romance de Thomas Pynchon que marcará o próximo trabalho de Paul Thomas Anderson no cinema depois de O Mestre. As informações são do IndieWire. A atriz se juntaria a Robert Downey Jr., cotado para viver o detetive maconheiro Larry "Doc" Sportello, que perambula pela Los Angeles de 1969 atrás do amor. Anderson garantiu o financiamento de The Master e Vício Inerente em 2011 e atualmente trabalha na última versão do roteiro, com a benção do recluso Pynchon, que está servindo como consultor. O tom do projeto é comparado a O Grande Lebowksi, mas Anderson afirmou ao New York Times que sua principal inspiração seria The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, a HQ underground de Gilbert Shelton publicada no mesmo período em que se passa o livro de Pynchon. Não há um cronograma definido para o filme, mas o diretor prometeu, em setembro, que seria mais "produtivo", não esperando cinco anos (tempo entre os lançamentos de Embriagado de Amor (2002), Sangue Negro (2007) e O Mestre) para levar Vício Inerente aos cinemas. Pela última vaga, havia forte indefinição. Eu apostava em Tarantino, alguns em O. Russell, mas Hooper apareceu. No entanto, a lista do DGA quase nunca bate com a do Oscar. Assim, ainda acredito que Taranta ou O. Russell vão aparecer no lugar de Hooper (ou, ainda, os dois e Lee fica de fora); ainda mais levando em consideração que os votos foram enviados para a AMPAS antes de sair esta lista do DGA - primeira vez, não? Você diria que as únicas locks são a Jessica e a Naomi? Eu ainda aposto na Lawrence, embora ela tenha caído muito, mas quem ganha o GG de comédia geralmente entra e ela certamente deve levar. A exceção da Sally Hawkins foi lamentável. Mas tudo que eu quero é a segundona da Marion. Torcendo também pro DeNiro.
