A peça explora questões relacionadas a classes sociais, gêneros e família. Chastain será a protagonista e Farrell interpreta o criado/amante. Samantha Morton completa o elenco.

"Gravity" favoritasso pra Melhor Filme. Avalanche de indicações.

"August: Osage Count" = "Doubt" ?

Jason Solomons ‏@JasonCritic 1m
Alexander Payne's #cannes2013 entry Nebraska is sublime - funny, wise, sweet and mythic. Best American road movie since the Straight Story.

Caspar Salmon ‏@eageryoungman 1m
NEBRASKA: can't say it especially did it for me. Some nice black & white photog, but I found its littleness affected & overdone. #Cannes2013

Geoff Andrew ‏@Geoff_Andrew 2m
#Cannes2013 Alexander Payne' NEBRASKA a lovely road movie about family ties and tensions and memories. Bruce Dern predictably excellent

René Naranjo S. ‏@renenaranjo 3m
Alexander Payne's 'Nebraska' is a touching masterpiece, with a magnificent Bruce Dern! #Cannes2013

Jordan Hoffman ‏@JHoffman6 10m
I'm not emotionally stable enough for all the heartache in these Cannes films. NEBRASKA is a knockout.

Alex Billington ‏@firstshowing 8m
Nebraska - Lo-fi nostalgic hometown charmer that works well. Payne really brings it home. Will Forte, Bruce Dern both fantastic. #cannes2013

Robbie Collin ‏@robbiereviews 14m
Alexander Payne's Nebraska is a resounding return to form: an ultra lo-fi, black-and-white elegy for the American family #cannes2013

Cate ‏@filmgirlcate 4m
Oh what a delight Nebraska is. Bruce Dern is outstanding - awards aplenty for him. Alexander Payne really knows relationships.

Mike D'Angelo ‏@gemko 5m
Nebraska (Payne): 71. "Does he have Alzheimer's?" "He just believes things that people tell him." "Oh, that's too bad."

Blake Williams ‏@Astrostic 5m
NEBRASKA (7.0): So nails an essential sadness of the American middle class that I spent half the running time fighting back tears.

Sasha Stone ‏@AwardsDaily 9m
Nebraska - maybe Payne's best? This and Sideways. But this is a richer experience overall.

Alicia Malone ‏@aliciamalone 9m
Alexander Payne's 'Nebraska' is LOVELY. Some non-actors were stilted (Payne-ful?) but the payoff was excellent. Beautiful score #cannes2013

ELLEUK ‏@ELLEUK 10m
Enjoyed today's big #Cannes film, Nebraska. It's a sweet, funny American indie from the brilliant Alexander Payne (Sideways)

David Jenkins ‏@daveyjenkins 11m
NEBRASKA (Payne) Think there's something in my eye... Intensely bittersweet b/w farewell to old America. Dern magnificent. #cannes2013

David Jenkins ‏@daveyjenkins 8m
NEBRASKA very rote in its construction, but details and texture lift it.

Jamie Graham ‏@totalfilm_jamie 12m
Alexander Payne makes his Straight Story with Nebraska. Beautiful monochrome visuals, one from the heart

Shaun Munro ‏@ShaunMunroFilm 13m
Nebraska was just delightful. Slighter than most of his works but masterfully acted and pondering weighty themes #Cannes2013

Alexander Ballinger ‏@lexBallinger 13m
Nebraska just unspooled in the Palais to loudest applause I've heard yet at the Fest @MovieMail

The Moviejerk ‏@themoviejerk 14m
Alexander Payne's 'Nebraska' is the best film I've seen in #Cannes2013. Laughed, cried and was moved ever so deeply.

Tim Grierson ‏@TimGrierson 15m
NEBRASKA: Alexander Payne's emotional wallops may be getting a touch formulaic. But they still get to me. #Cannes

Nigel M. Smith ‏@nigelmfs 15m
NEBRASKA gets better as it rolls along. Still, marred by a clunky screenplay and an inert Will Forte. Payne's weakest. #cannes2013

Screen Comment ‏@SCREENCOMMENT 16m
Alexander Payne has made an admirable film. Nebraska was a pleasure to watch (will get a prize, no doubt) #cannes2013

Jonathan Romney ‏@JonathanRomney 16m
NEBRASKA - sweet/sour unsentimental Americana, beautifully acted & shot. Touch of Straight Story but so deadpan it could almost be Finnish.

Ken Adams ‏@TaybackX 33s
NEBRASKA is Payne's best and most realized film with a stellar performance from Bruce Dern. #cannes2013

Matt Patches ‏@misterpatches 4m
Nebraska's a simple, sentimental slice of Americana. Unexpectedly sweet considering Payne's past work. A wonderful ensemble. #Cannes2013

Steven Zeitchik ‏@ZeitchikLAT 14m
Alexander Payne’s Nebraska is a piece of minor-key perfection, a Sideways-level look at family, aging, ambition and acceptance.

Damon Wise ‏@yo_damo 41s
June Squibb is about to become, you know, a thing, #Nebraska #Cannes2013

Guido @GuidoC 1h June Squibb goes to the Oscar for this. It is a On Golden Pond for a new generation.

Steven Zeitchik ‏@ZeitchikLAT 4m
And Bruce Dern, Will Forte and June Squibb are all brilliant. The '14 Oscar acting race suddenly has three new entrants. #Nebraska #Cannes
