A maldição do NBR precisa ser melhor estudada. Virou um feitiço da República Dominicana já. A Atriz vencedora nem indicada é, pelo - acho - terceiro ano seguido! Emma Thompson fora! Eu não imaginava porque ela é muito querida, mas não é "injusto", e o filme passou completamente batido, exceto trilha (injusto!)! Sally Hawkins fez a minha alegria! Cate Blanchett carregou o nome dela até a indicação. Opha fora!!! Que legal! DiCaprio, ainda bem, dentro. Ninguém percebeu o Payne imiscuindo-se no jogo. Mas agora já aprendi: contra ele e Streep não dá pra apostar contra. Irmãos Coen de fora em Roteiro!!! "All is Lost" fora de Trilha sonora. Com os medalhões de sempre, mais a linda trilha de "Her". Spike Jonse indicado em Canção!!! (E roteiro, que antes não tinha) Adam Stockhausen, nunca indicado pelos filmes do Wes Anderson, conseguiu finalmente sua indicação por "12 years a slave". "Stories we tell" fora de Documentário foi uma das maiores surpresas! Tracy Letts fora de Roteiro adaptado!! Meu "No Gust, no Glory" deu certo: Jonah Hill, segunda indicação! Como todo ano, a surpresa fica sempre na quinta vaga. A exceção foi em atriz, que tivemos Streep E Adams entrando, sendo que se cogitava entrar apenas uma delas. Mas no fundo não teve nenhum WOOOW como tiveram nos 2 últimos anos (Affleck fora em 2013 e Tão Longe tão perto dentro em 2012), mas sempre tem coisinhas aki e ali. Tom Hanks e Paul Greengrass fora é um ESCÂNDALO! Maaas, se isso foi necessário para o DiCaprio entrar, eu perdôo. Adorei Oprah fora. Tem como não amar ela de fora? Eles realmente amaram Dallas Buyers Club! É o 3º ano que a Academia adota esse sistema e o 3º que eles indicam 9. A surpresa foi a ausência de "Inside Llewyn Davis". Os Coen são adorados pela Academia, conseguindo até indicar "Um Homem Sério", que na época não recebeu tantos elogios. Tinha certeza que devido a esse amor pelos Coen, no final eles acabariam entrando. Direção Alexander Payne e David O. Russell realmente são queridos entre os membros do Oscar, né? Ambos foram indicados pelos seus 3 últimos filmes. Se tornam nomes fortes para futuramente levarem a estatueta nessa categoria. Ator Muitos estão surpresos com a indicação do DiCaprio. No entanto, não foi tanta surpresa assim não; afinal sabíamos que havia uma quinta vaga em aberto sendo disputada por ele e pelo Redford. A grande surpresa aqui foi a inclusão do Christian Bale no lugar do Tom Hanks. (o que só mostra a força de "Trapaça", indicando um ator em cada categoria. Se vier a ganhar o SAG de elenco, diria que pode até levar o Oscar principal, batendo "12 Anos de Escravidão", numa reviravolta impressionante). E quem levará o Oscar de ator? Ejiofor ou McConaughey? Será que o DiCaprio entra na disputa mesmo tendo ficado de fora do SAG? (ano passado, Christopher Waltz levou o de coadjuvante mesmo não aparecendo na lista do sindicato). Atriz. Ok, muitos esperavam a entrada da Amy Adams na lista. Porém apontava-se a sua inclusão em detrimento da Streep e não no lugar da Emma Thompson. E Streep consegue sua 18º indicação (ninguém a segura mesmo). Ator coadjuvante. Daniel Bruhl de fora? E quem entrou foi Johah Hill. Atriz coadjuvante. Oprah de fora e Sally Hawkins. Adorei. Nunca entendi essa paparicação toda em torno da Oprah no filme do Lee Daniel (que por sinal foi totalmente esquecido). Roteiro original Irmãos Coen de fora??? E indicaram "Clube de Compras Dallas" no lugar. E Woody Allen mais uma vez é indicado (é a Streep dos roteiros). Roteiro adaptado nenhuma surpresa Efeitos visuais Colocaram "O Cavaleiro Solitário" na vaga do "Círculo de Fogo". Som (edição e mixagem) E "Rush" nem aqui apareceu. Fora isso, nenhuma grande surpresa, talvez a ausência de "12 Anos de Escravidão", que por ser o filme favorito da temporada esperava que entrasse em mais categorias técnicas. Fotografia Coitado do Roger Deakins: 11 indicações e nenhuma vitória. Ou alguém ainda dúvida da vitória do Lubezki por "Gravidade"? E como escrevi acima, a surpresa foi a ausência de "12 Anos de Escravidão", que por ser o filme favorito da temporada achava que entraria em mais categorias técnicas. Edição Sem Telma Schoonmaker? E "Clube de Compras Dallas" indicado? Ou seja, já podemos descartar "O Lobo" da disputa de melhor filme. A última vez que um filme levou o prêmio principal sem ser indicado em edição foi há mais de 3 décadas (Gente como a Gente em 1981). Trilha sonora 49º indicação do mestre John Willams (é a Streep e Allen juntos da trilha sonora). E parafraseando Steve Martin: "John Williams, como gosto de pensar, não é o maior indicado ao Oscar e sim o maior perdedor" (49 indicações e apenas 5 vitórias). E Hans Zimmer ficou de fora por "12 Anos de Escravidão"??! Mais uma categoria técnica que "12 anos" fica de fora (parece que realmente não gostaram tanto assim do filme, um mau sinal). E deem logo o Oscar por Thomas Newman - 12ª indicação por "Walt nos Bastidores de Mary Poppins" e nunca ganhou. Canção Alone Yet Not Alone? Que filme é esse? Alguém já ouviu falar? Maquiagem E não indicaram "Trapaça". E pensar que "Jackass: Vovô Sem Vergonha" poderá se gabar de ser um "indicado ao Oscar". Direção de Arte "Hobbit: Desolação de Smaug" é o primeiro filme baseado na obra de Tolkien adaptado pelo Jackson que fica de fora aqui. Figurino Nenhuma grande surpresa. E não tivemos Collen Atwood e nem Sandy Powell (praticamente todo ano 1 das 2 é indicada). Animação E cadê "Universidade Monstro"? Tudo bem que o filme não é nenhuma obra-prima e é um dos mais frascos da Pixar. No entanto, conseguiram achar espaço pra "Meu Malvado Favorito 2". Será que "Malvado" merece mais que "Monstros"? Para quem não acredita em "surpresas", vou revelar algumas (apesar de a amostragem ser pequena - 9 votantes -, dá para termos uma noção). - Trilha sonora: todos erraram "12 anos de escravidão". - Animação: todos erram "Universidade Monstros". - Atriz: todos erraram Emma Thompson. - Ator coadjuvante: todos erraram Daniel Brühl e ninguém apostou em Jonah Hill. - Edição: ninguém apostou em "Dallas". - Efeitos visuais: ninguém apostou em "Cavaleiro solitário". - Edição/mixagem de som: ninguém apostou em "O Hobbit". - Figurino: ninguém apostou em "The grandmaster". - Filme: ninguém apostou em "Philomena" (ok, esta não foi uma zebra: a Sasha Stone acertou). Somente atriz coadjuvante, roteiro original e roteiro adaptado tiveram 100% de acerto por parte de algum concorrente. A música da Lana Del Rey é muito boa mesmo, mas como eu postei parece que descobriram que os votantes do Oscar receberam emails dizendo que, por motivos técnicos, Young and Beautiful havia sido considerada não-elegível à categoria de canção (mas parece que ainda não descobriram quem seria o responsável por esses emails), e isso deve certamente ter tirado muitos votos dos menos informados. Sim, estava cansado também do nome dela por QUALQUER comédia tola no Globo de Ouro (Julie & Julia, Mamma Mia!, Simplesmente complicado). Dito isso, apesar de não ter visto mais nenhum outro filme, acho sua atuação merecedora de indicação sim! Esta é a Meryl que aprendemos a gostar e que se fez merecedora de tantos elogios ao longo do tempo. A não ser que todas as outras cinco concorrentes estejam num patamar elevadíssimo - até para seus padrões -, não a conseguiria remover do top 5 do ano.
