Oscar 2019 - Previsões

É muito bem feito! Eu estava descrente quanto as chances dele em Roteiro Adaptado, mas agora que vi, tenho cenho certeza que entra. Gillian Flynn e Steve McQuenn são os roteiristas - seria a primeira indicação na categoria para ambos.

É muita reviravolta. É reviravolta em cima de reviravolta em cima de reviravolta, e todas críveis. No fim das contas, é um filme de ação - por mais que toque em várias questões culturais relevantes. 

Viola Davis, te venero, te venero rude, te venero demais! Mas o maior destaque pra mim foi a Elizabeth Debicki.

Pena que o filme - não sei por quê -  flopou na bilheteria.

Amanhã são os indicados do Globo de Ouro, né? Torço muito muito muito pra que First Reformed esteja em filme, mesmo achando bem difícil. Mas ainda mantenho a esperança pro Oscar. Acho que apostaria nisso.

Aniquilação é inelegível por algum motivo? É um trabalho mais interessante que a maioria desses aí. Efeitos visuais são um ponto baixo de Pantera Negra. A indicação, ou não, do filme nessa categoria talvez dê uma medida de quão forte ele chega para a premiação.

Era elegível. Pois é, muita gente reclamou da ausência. Eu odiei o filme, mas reconheço o mérito técnico. Além disso, o Design de Produção, com aquelas figuras em flores, também é muito legal.

Anúncio dos indicados ao Globo de Ouro amanhã. Nunca perder de vista que é um prêmio decidido por menos de 100 votantes. É essa a dimensão, não mais. A categoria que mais importa, a meu ver, é Direção. "Roma" não é elegível para a categoria de Drama no Globo de Ouro, pois - julgo eu - Netflix é tratada como tevê , e eles têm uma divisão por tevê. Mas, entretanto, eu soube que os atores poderiam disputar (no caso, Yalitza Aparicío). É meio contraditório isso.

 "A Star is Born" e "Bohemian Rhapsody" foram indicados pelos estúdios como contendores em  Drama, e não Musicais. Mesmo assim a concorrência na parte de Comédia/Musical continua forte com "The Favourite", "Vice', "Crazy Rich Asians", "Mary Poppins Returns", etc.  "A Star is Born" parece ser o favorito de uma premiação que precisa e gosta de estrelas vencendo.

Emily Blunt, mesmo grávida, em intensa campanha pelo filme (leia-se: por sua primeira indicação).

Foi ainda mais louco do que eu anunciei ontem. "Roma" era elegível para Roteiro, e Direção, mas não era elegível para filme. Dã!
