Como ignorar a canção "Girl in the Movies", de Dolly Parton, para a deliciosa comédia "Dumplin"? Dolly Parton pode alcançar sua terceira indicação, já que a música está nas semifinais. Anne Thompson, Tariq Khan, Tom O`Neil, Sasha Stone, entre outros, já a colocam como uma das canções finalistas. É uma música que fecha o filme e que tem uma letra que o resume completamente, com aquele alto astral característico, e aquele fraseado tão característico de Dolly. Me fascina como ela encontra frases simples e tira ouro delas. O filme, como disse, é bom, cumpre tudo o que promete. Mas quem o eleva é a fantástica atriz Danielle Macdonald, que apareceu para o cinema com aquela atuação extraordinária em "Patti Cake$", e depois só foi colecionando papéis, "Lady Bird', "Bird Box", e tal...Essa menina é um estouro! Transformou a internet em um mundo divertido e colorido, conseguindo ainda fazer um esperto comentário sobre o distanciamento das amizades. O design de produção é ma-ra-vi-lho-so! Que criatividade! É um show! A parte da Deep Web ficou fabulosa. Não é spoiler, pois já foi muito divulgado, mas quando todas as princesas Disney aparecem há o cuidado de se executarem a trilha sonora de cada filme, quando cada uma delas fala ou faz alguma coisa, valendo-se das dublagens originais. É um capricho, um apuro... O único problema do filme é não conseguir evitar de se transformar em uma propaganda dos grandes players da Internet, como E-bay, Pinterest, Amazon...Se em "Zootopia" há a esplêndia cena da Preguiça funcionária pública atrás de um balcão; neste filme novamente o melhor personagem está atrás de um balcão...Não hilariante quando aquele, mas daora demais! Crossovers e easter eggs aos montes...participação especial de um carinha falecido recentemente...e tem até "La La Land". E no final há uma versão sensacional de um hit de muito sucesso. Muito legal. Em todo caso, chama a atenção a ausência de "Mary Poppins", "First Man" e "If Beale Street Could Talk"; em compensação olha "Vice" aí outra vez. Muito boa notícia para Amy Adams. Posted January 5, 2019 Members Report Share Posted January 5, 2019 Baseada em premiada HQ francesa, essa adaptação de "A Morte de Stálin" foi sucesso de público e crítica, e, como resultado, acabou sendo proibida na Rússia. Tira sarro de todas as figuras históricas que gravitavam em torno de Stálin, da família, da burocracia, dos militares de ego enorme...O elenco está fantástico, e o texto é muito engraçado. Nathaniel Rogers foi o primeiro a enxergar o filme como candidato à uma das 5 vagas de Roteiro Adaptado, já que Armando Iannucci o fora por "In The Loop" , mas hoje mais gurus Oscarmaníacos veem isso acontecendo... Não está na minha lista, contudo, pois acho difícil até para "Crazy Rich Asians". A comédia só surge muito depois do drama no Teatro Grego. É que a comédia só surge depois de instalada a democracia. Que filme delicioso! Eu não imaginava gostar tanto. O filme é redondo, azeitadinho, engraçado, emocionante, bonito mesmo, na moral. Viggo Mortensen - nossa! - que atuação! Que ano é esse de Ator? Uma performance que é caricatural, mas no bom sentido. Eu conheço gente assim. É crível, é humano, é perto da gente. Mahershala Ali - nossa! - que atuação! Que ano é esse de Ator? Repito a estrutura do parágrafo anterior, tratando de Ator, porque ele é "lead". Elegantíssimo em cena, distinto, delicado. Eu conheço gente assim. É crível, é humano, é perto da gente. Acusam o roteiro como óbvio, pois estamos num momento do cinema de que tudo deve ser reviravoltas, mas o texto em si é muito bem feito. As conversações entre os dois são muito encantadoras (mérito dos atores, também). Penso que conquistará uma das disputadas vagas de Roteiro Orignal, no Oscar. Direção? Farrely luta pela quinta vaga, pois não há "snob appeal" suficiente. Mas está no jogo. Repetirá "Conduzindo Miss Daisy", 30 anos atrás, cujo seu diretor não conseguiu ser indicado? Realmente, quem imaginaria uma história como essa 30 anos depois, com os papéis invertidos? Uma beleza de coincidência. Há alguns meses, coloquei o filme como o favorito a ganhar Best Picture. Agora mudei de novo para "A Star is Born". Porém, tendo visto o filme agora, acho que ele será o número 2 da maioria dos votantes. (Octavia Spencer é a produtora executiva.
