Aparentemente, os testes de público foram ruins. Há uma reviravolta na história que parece ter confundido as audiências. Eu imagino o que seja, mas no livro, pelo menos, é claro. Só registrar minha experiência: houve, em virtude da técnica escolhida, uma desconexão entre o filme da fala e o filme da imagem. Em muitos momentos - como tenho uma cabeça muito louca- me vi pensando na arte do fantoche. Em como o mundo da fala acontece num nível e o mundo imagético em outro. Em como a emoção é dita e não mostrada. Para ser justo, efeitos visuais deslumbrantes. Seria um Oscar merecido. Quem no mundo irá preferir esse filme ao filme de 1994? Olha a situação: Todo mundo vai em busca de um Filme do Almodóvar e encontra ao mesmo tempo, o filme com mais Almodóvar, e menos Almodovariano. Brincando com os limites da autoficção, brincando com a metalinguagem, a semelhança de um "8 e 1/2" particular, "Dor & Glória" me encantou basicamente pela inteligência sutil do roteiro. Não sei se muita gente reparou mas...em meio a tantas recordações do protagonista, sua adolescência e fase adulta não são mostradas nem uma única vez. Todo o filme se concentra em um jogo entre velhice-infância, as duas fases extremas da vida, as duas águas do telhado (como diria Machado de Assis). É uma maturidade muito grande de Almodóvar entender isso. Deixar de lado a "carne trêmula", os ardores do sexo, as bizarrices do submundo, as fantasias da fase adulta...O que é mostrado de si, agora, são, como disse, aquelas duas fases da vida. Achei muito inteligente e diferente.É um outro registro do cinema dele. Em matéria de Oscar, acho que é possível imaginar o filme presente em Filme Internacional, Melhor Roteiro Original, Melhor Ator (Banderas, premiado em Cannes, talvez uma quinta vaga), e Melhor Trilha Sonora (Alberto Iglesias - seria sua quarta indicação). Não vejo o filme ganhando, entretanto. Ao escolher , como é dito expressamento pelo seu alter-ego, o controle, a contenção, e a redução do melodrama, Pedro Almodóvar também diminuiu a voltagem pop, que faz ganhar prêmios. A Palma de Ouro em Cannes não poderia estar em melhor mãos. Estou sem palavras e sem fôlego diante de tamanho talento. Penso em "Teorema" de Pasolini, penso nos irmãos Coen, penso em Claude Chabrol. Será que algum diretor no mundo sabe preencher a parte central de um enquadramento tão bem quanto Bong Joon-Ho? Não é estático de um jeito Wes Anderson, é completamente teatral e fluído. "Parasite" é maravilhoso! Há uma dimensão de chão, remetendo ao título, com os atores rastejando nos cenários, se escondendo por debaixo dos móveis...ai, é sublime demais. Oscar pra Coreia do Sul em Filme Internacional: Fato! Consigo vislumbrar uma indicação a Melhor Roteiro Original e a Melhor Diretor. É impossível essa obra-prima passar batida pela Academia.
