[/quote'] O segundo CD dela foi um grande fracasso comercial e a gravadora recrutou o Timbaland ( o cara do Promiscous) para transformar a Nelly de hippie canadense orgulhosa das raízes portuguesas para a mais nova popozuda do pedaço . É a operação " wigga " : adaptar cantores brancos para fazerem sucesso na ditatura da cultura hip-hop que assola os EUA já uns dez anos . Gwen Stefani , Christina Aguilera , Justin Timberlake , Shakira e a Fergie ( do Black Eyed Peas) são alguns exemplos disso . E podia ser pior : existe coisa mais abjeta que essa onda " emo " ? E eu tenho que confessar que " Promiscous " é um guilty pleasure para mim . Mais grudento e irresistível de cantarolar só mesmo o repertório da Beyoncé ... E ja tinha até trabalhado duas vezes com o Timbaland antes do Loose. E putz, se ela tivesse querendo se adaptar ao hip-hop pra fazer sucesso, como alguns dizem, ela não iria lançar algo como o album todo em português e espanhol que ela tá preparando. Que convenhamos, não é nada comercial. Enfim.. taí umas novas performances ótimas de All Good Things se alguém tiver interessado em ver: Ao vivo no World Music Awards No programa Paul O'Grady No Loose Women E no Popworld E esses dias ela ganhou dois prêmios.. ( Brincadeira! ) Vi por acaso Nelly cantando "Try", achei a voz dela maravilhosa, virei fã. Tb gosto de "One brick pone" e "Bay" Amei o clip "I'm like a bird". Apesar do clichê de chamar um rapper pra cantar junto. Ela não é só um rapper. Ele é o porra do Timbaland, o maior gênio do pop comercial atualmente. No álbum "Greatest" tem várias músicas, assim, diferentonas. tem até uma cantada em português. Olha só, agora uma atitude super preconceituosa minha, acho que rapper p/ ser bom tem que ser negão mesmo! Eles tem aquela empostação de voz diferente, eles cantam pronunciando as palavras em tons e pausas e volume diferentes... Afff!, sei lá. Além do que a voz dos negros já são melodiosas por natureza.
