Like 2011's "Drive," "Only God Forgives" looks to feature amped-up style, a distinctive soundtrack (here featuring a song by Thai group Proud), and Gosling brutally kicking ass while casting inscrutable glances. Gosling's character, drug kingpin Julien, runs a boxing club in Bangkok as a front for his family's crime organization. Meanwhile, a mysterious, crazed policeman is tailing him. A glamorous, icy Kristin Scott Thomas also makes an appearance here, playing Julien's mother. The film hits theaters July 19 via Weinstein Company imprint Radius.
