Realmente, Bernardo.Chris Weitz fez um trabalho resumido e talvez os fãs q esperam fidelidade canina.Naum vou me adiantar, mas uma das maiores revelações do filme só é feita no final do longa e a ordem dos acontecimentos é um pouquinho alterada, mesmo assim consegue superar em termos de diversão As Crônicas de Nárnia. A Bússola sobrevive por si só sem ter que recorrer a elementos que lembrem O Senhor dos Anéis. Deve fazer o mesmo caminho q Harry Potter nos cinemas, os primeiros filmes chegam tímidos com algumas falhas, mas logo vai ganhando espaço. Só para observar: Nicole Kidman está fantástica, como há muitos não se via e a batalha entre os ursos é um dos melhores momentos do filme!!!!!!

Bom pelo menos entre mortos e feridos, Kidman está sendo elogiada mais uma vez no mesmo ano e o filme tem somente 13 críticas, pode melhorar...Margot at the Wedding, o novo trabalho da Nicole começou muito mal no Rotten por volta de 30%, hoje já está com 58%, quase quase fresh. O q acho q pode acontecer é o caso semelhante das adaptações de Harry Potter, irem melhorando a medida q vierem as continuações.Agora se naum fizerem a adaptação de A Faca Sutil e A Luneta Âmbar será muito estranho...Teremos A Bússola de Ouro sem conclusão...

Bernardo, eu tb gostei do filme e pretendo rever só q na versão original, inclusive com as musicas em inglês(algumas inclusive vi no you tube). Eu sinceramente naum consigo avaliar com 100% confiança a performance de um ator com uma dublagem no meio do caminho, apesar de no caso perceber o esforço fantástico da Adams em reproduzir as afetações das princesas Disney. Mas dublarem as músicas foi um pouco além, ficou muito ruim, uma agressão aos ouvidos. Deveriam ter dublado,mas conservado os numeros musicais.Sinceramente, naum consegui ter uma avaliação segura do filme por isso. Achei que a dublagem prejudicou uns 40% da qualidade do filme e continuo a afirmar: evitem a cópia dublada prefiram ver em dvd ou se conseguir a versão legendada, mesmo que esperem anos...Quebrei minha cara!

After a series of arthouse flops, she is back on magnificent form as Mrs Coulter in the new £90million movie version of Northern Lights, the opening episode of Philip Pullman's fantasy series, His Dark Materials. Dressed in vampish outfits, she hisses and caresses her way across the screen. We haven't seen such a complex portrait of cartoon evil since Cruella de Vil. Excitement was palpable at the premiere of the Golden Compass at the Odeon Leicester Square. After all it has become headline news. The Catholic League insists it's anti-Christian and has urged parents to ban their children from seeing it. The National Secular Society has condemned the decision to remove anti-religious references. But is it any good? Definitively, yes. A beautifully made, spectacularly designed family movie, it dares to ask serious questions about good and evil, free will and adolescent sexuality. Granted many of these topics will float over the heads of its younger audience - but there's a spoonful of medicine mixed in with the sugar. The first book sees Lyra travel from Oxford to the icy wastelands of the North, as she attempts to rescue her kidnapped friend and fight the Magisterium, which condones the surgical removal of children's souls. There are genuinely scary moments including a vicious battle between armoured bears and a chilling scene where scientists try to cut away Lyra's daemon (reminiscent of Nazi eugenics). How does it compare with His Dark Materials, the six-hour marathon staged by the National Theatre? Well, we miss some of the subversive storytelling - and no film can match the intimacy of live performance. But the film looks fabulous: all art deco interiors and hi-tech gadgets. Instead of using live puppets to create Pullman's talking daemons ( a metaphor for sexuality which only "fixes" when we reach puberty), director-Chris Weitz relies on CGI wizardry. Bond fans will relish seeing Daniel Craig as the bearded Lord Asriel, although his role won't develop until the next two parts. But it's 13-yearold British actress Dakota Blue Richards who is the major find. To accommodate the new schedule, Daldry's adaptation of the Bernhard Schlink best-seller is shifting more work from Berlin's Studio Babelsberg to MMC Studios in Cologne. The production originally planned to spend 12 of a budgeted 75 shooting days in Cologne, but that is expected to increase substantially now. While Berlin will still serve as the backdrop for location shooting, more of the interior shots on "Reader" will head west. The film's producers have already shot some scenes without Kidman in and around Berlin. The shoot marks a reversal of fortunes for Cologne, which is heavily dependent on television production and thus far has not profited as much from Germany's current film production boom. Big studio productions such as "Valkyrie," "Speed Racer" and "The International" have all chosen to shoot in Berlin. "Reader" associate producer Michael Simon de Normier of SenfkornFilm credits regional subsidy body Filmstiftung NRW and its head, Michael Schmid-Ospach, for bringing the project to Cologne. Filmstiftung NRW is expected to announce funding for the project this week.
