  1. Pré-selecionado entre os 10 concorrentes ao Oscar de Curta Live Action, "Caroline" tem sendo proclamado o favorito. É sobre crianças deixadas em um carro, debaixo de um sol inclemente. Com apenas 11 minutos, é bem forte, plausível, e incrivelmente bem atuado. Aliás, a codiretora e roteirista, Celine Held, também atua neste curta, como a mãe das crianças. Como fazer o que é certo? Adorei.
  2. Ainda sobre "Roma": Vocês sabem que existe PT/PSOL/PC do B/PSTU em todo lugar do mundo, né? Não é castigo exclusivo nosso. Os equivalentes dos Estados Unidos estão detratando o filme por que ele não daria "voz" à empregada, que é a classe média falando pela classe pobre, não existiria a emancipação da figura do trabalhador... É uma doença.

Tive que esperar até a última linha dos créditos para verificar se havia alguma menção à crueldade com os animais, e, ufa!, aquela frase tranquilizadora: "nenhum foi ferido", etc. No meio dos créditos há também agradecimentos especiais a Nicole Kidman, Jamie Bell, Charlotte Gainsbourg... Como vocês veem, eu fui até o final, até o final mesmo! Não saí do cinema vomitando, como muita gente ao redor do planeta... Mas, como tava contando, ao final dos créditos, eu só pude pensar: Nunca vi nada parecido antes! A casa. A casa que o Jack construiu. É inimaginável. A cena em que ela aparece me arrepiou do mesmo modo de quando a personagem da Charlotte encontra a sua árvore em "Ninfomaníaca: vol. 2". Lars Von trier tem uma mente artística, muito reflexiva, e inteligente. Excelente. O resto é despeito.

Eugenio Caballero, o Designer do filme, oscarizado por "O Labirinto do Fauno", esclareceu em entrevista que eles tiveram que CONSTRUIR A AVENIDA, com asfalto e tudo, pois aquele logradouro de infância (ele também, assim como Cuarón, morou no bairro Roma) encontrava-se bastante modificado arquitetonicamente, mormente depois do terremoto dos anos 1980. O Cuarón contou que para fazer esse plano magnífico da praia, e filmar em uma única vez!, ele teve que construir um píer. Só isso.

  7. Urso de Prata de Melhor Roteiro em Berlim, este é mais um ótimo filme mexicano. A história do assalto ao museu de antropologia é boa em si, mas como é filmado é ainda melhor. São quase 20 minutos de intenso silêncio, sem nem uma palavra trocada. É puro cinema. Assim como entendemos sutilmente que a maioria dos acervos são também histórias de roubos. Parabéns aos envolvidos.

  12. Um requentado de todos os filmes de suspense que a gente já viu na vida. Não é ruim de todo (só o final que é muito ruim,) mas vindo de Polanski e Olivier Assayas, esperava mais "cinema". Eva Green, dona dos olhos mais belos do cinema atual.

  15. Fiquei surpreso pela abordagem violenta, ou mais selvagem, da história. Tem uma cena muiiiiiiiiiito pesada psicologicamente. A estética às vezes me lembrou video-game. A captura de performance funciona muito bem na maior parte das vezes. Não vejam com crianças pequenas.
  16. Considero biografia o gênero mais difícil de cinema. Mesmo quando há respeito à figura retratada, mesmo quando há atenção à época retratada, aos costumes, etc, pode faltar a centelha do artístico. Este "Colette" é bem bonito de Figurino (Muitos queriam vê-lo indicado na categoria), de Design, há boas atuações, mas não tem artisticidade nenhuma nas mãos do diretor Wash Westmoreland (de "Still Alice"). Falei em respeito... Talvez "desrespeito" seja uma palavra para definir o que falta a esse filme. Desrespeito, no mais alto sentido. No sentido que a própria Colette aprovaria.
