Por exemplo, Liv Ullman e Isabelle Adjani, 2 estrangeiras, conseguiram duas indicações cada, fora a Sophia Loren, mas essa não conta pq foi estrela de Hollywood. Mas Broken Flowers já foi apresentado em festivais...enfim...já tem sua divulgação!!! o legal, são filmes que nem se toma consciência de que estão sendo feitos, aí em outubro surge um buzz!!!! Este ano estou achando que não deve ter nenhum critical darling ou filme moderno e independente. Se tiver, pode ser que seja Prime ou In Her Shoes... já Elizabethtown... duvido muito que um filme com o Orlando Bloom no papel principal seja indicado à Melhor Filme, ele é um ator muito, mas muito ruin. Ou vai Veangence, ou Jarhead ou Cinderella Man. Cinderella Man, por ter estreado muito cedo, está fora. Jarhead e Venagence estão na disputa e eu acho que dá Veangence. Vengeance não é da Dreamworks? Ultimamente os filmes "modernos" tem conseguido indicações a Melhor Filme. Esse ano pode ser In Her Shoes, Elizabethtown, Prime.... NORMALMENTE, dentre os indicados tem: Um grande sucesso de bilheteria (SDA, Gladiador, Titanic) Um filme praticamente desconheçido (até a indicação, claro) que a crítica amou (Sideways, Encontros e Desencontros, O Pianista, Entre 4 paredes, Menina de Ouro) O grande favorito(O Aviador, SDA, Chicago) O drama quadradão (Seabiscuit, Finding Neverland, Ray) Mas esse ano não teve nenhum sucesso de bilheteria entre os indicados. Eu axo que sim viu.... só se eles indicarem King Kong ou Crônicas de Nárnia pois são os únicos filmes que estrearão esse ano e que podem se tornar um GRANDE sucesso de bilheteria, porém não acho que nenhum deles será indicado à categoria principal...
