Valentine's passa dos 100 porque estreiou muito bem, Percy Jackson foi derrubado pela crítica especializada e pelos fãs (eu sou um deles, achei o filme bem fraco, mas ao menos me diverti). a Fox estragou ERAGON e PERCY JACKSON, tenho até medo do que o estúdio vai fazer com NÁRNIA. [/quote'] Pois é, Pantalaimon, o livro é excelente. Aliás, toda a trilogia é (o último livro me deixou pensativo e melancólico durante dias). Putz, mas ae que tá o problema, "se fizessem direito". Se fizessem direito, o livro teria que tocar em temas espinhosos, toda a crítica religiosa e talz... E não consigo imaginar um filme de 200 milhões de dólares onde as tropas celestiais são as vilãs (e Deus é aquila coisa que aparece no final do terceiro volume). E o que dizer daquela "cena" de sexo que ocorre também no terceiro volume, que é vital para a trama? Mostrar (ou ao menos sugerir) tudo isso seria fazer direito, mas como fazer uma super-produção com esses temas? Tentaram disfarçar tudo no filme, o que enfraqueceu demais a história. Outro problema é filmar uma história tão poderosa com elenco (principal) formado por crianças... Acho que o único que seria capaz de tal feito era o Steven Spielberg de 20 anos atrás. Hoje em dia, não sei. Talvez por suas características, a trilogia Fronteiras do Universo seja mesmo infilmável. Não tem jeito, ou entram de cabeça e fazem um filme absolutamente PROFANO, ou então que não façam mais. Prefiro não ver outro filme da trilogia do que ver outro filme meia-boca. As referências religiosas mesmo podem ser disfarçadas de alguma forma, não sei. Se eles conquistassem o público nos primeiros dois filmes, poderiam chutar o balde no último, e revelar tudo, acho. Era o que eu esperava caso a trilogia fosse em diante; um primeiro filme fraco, que formasse uma fã-base, fosse sucesso, dando liberdade para os outros dois. Foi o que o Weitz disse que ia fazer. Enfim, ele falou tanta coisa, e não fez quase nada; certo,a New Line é muito responsável por quase tudo.
