"InglouriousBasterds" continued to perform well outside the U.S. with $11.2 millionat 2,900 in 40 territories -- including a $4 million Spanish launch and$260,000 in Israel, where Tarantino attended the premiere. "Basterds"has cumed $115.7 million overseas, eclipsing "Kill Bill Vol. 1" at$111.4 million as the top Tarantino foreign grosser. Sony's "TheUgly Truth" took in $9.4 million at 2,300 in 41 markets, led by a $3million Russian launch, to boost its international take to $44.9million. Warner Bros.' "The Final Destination" followed with $9.2million at 2,300 in 35 territories for a $70.4 million foreign cume.AndFox's "Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" padded its foreign gross withanother $4.7 million at 2,000 in 28 markets, mostly with $3.4 millionfrom its fourth Italian frame. Foi o que ele disse em uma entrevista depois de ser expulso pelo estúdio de um projeto que ele tava desenvolvendo com o Pitt chamado Moneyball. Como diretores como ele estão encontrado cada vez mais dificuldade pra financiar projetos como os que ele se interessa, ele disse que deve fazer mais uns dois filmes e se aposentar. Ponto pra quem defende que ela não é tão determinante para o sucesso de seus filmes. Cloudy (que vai se chamar Tá Chovendo Hamburger aqui no Brasil) foi até melhor do que se esperava. Eu vi o trailer e achei simpático. Basterds deve ficar nos 120 milhões. Tops. The Informant vai cair muito quando as pessoas descobrirem que não é 11 Homens e um Segredo. Os filmes dela fazem muito sucesso quando ela contracena com outros atores que atraem público' date=' mas "sozinha" ela não consegue levar muita gente ao cinema (como já havia acontecido esse ano com Management).
