In an Academy Award-nominated performance, Denzel Washington (Glory) stars as the famed activist; director Spike Lee (Inside Man) charts Malcolm's journey from his early years as a Harlem gangster through his emergence as one of the Civil Rights Movement's most influential figures. Supporting Washington is a powerhouse cast including Lee (Do the Right Thing), Angela Bassett (The Score), Delroy Lindo (Get Shorty), Theresa Randle (Bad Boys), Al Freeman, Jr. (Black Like Me), Christopher Plummer (Beginners), Peter Boyle (Young Frankenstein), Karen Allen (Starman), Wendell Pierce (Treme), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), David Patrick Kelly (The Warriors), Richard Schiff (The West Wing), and Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos). Cancelled last January because of music rights issues, this two-disc Digibook edition will commemorate Malcolm X's twentieth anniversary. Wellman's Wings (1927), starring Clara Bow, Richard Arlen, Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, and Gary Cooper. Wings was the first film, and the only silent film, to win an Academy Award for Best Picture. The exact technical specs, region coding status and special features for this release are unknown at the moment, but the street date set by the studio is January 24th. James Cameron fodeu com a fotografia do filme no BD: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=19409827#post19409827 Parece que o velho Jim ficou tempo demais em Avatar. Essa fotografia esverdeada é idêntica à de Avatar. Uma pena que a imagem do DVD (duplo) esteja pavorosa, mas alterar a fotografia já é demais. Idem para a porcaria que fizeram com Operação França 1. Ngor. In 1984, the film won three Oscar Awards, including Best Cinematography (Chris Menges) and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Haing S. Ngor). Street date is February 27th. Note: Director Joffé's latest film, There Be Dragons, is set to be released on Blu-ray in the UK on February 6th. The U.S. Blu-ray release is set for January 10th. Eu tenho o box Alien Anthology e a imagem de Aliens O Resgate é simplesmente "O" destaque do box inteiro. O filme NUNCA teve uma imagem decente em DVD e a única versão que achei que a fotografia se encaixava com a proposta do filme é uma versão remasterizada lançada em VHS em 1998 para aproveitar o lançamento do 4º filme nos cinemas. Ademais, Cameron sempre falou que as técnicas empregadas na filmagem e na fotografia nunca tinham sido manifestadas em sua glória em qualquer versão do filme lançada no correr dos anos. Creio que só agora podemos ver Aliens, no tocante à fotografia e tons de cores, do jeito que ele sempre pretendeu. Qualquer um com o mínimo de senso estético que tenha visto o filme em suas edições anteriores irá concordar com o resultado do BD de Aliens. E divago... de onde vc tirou que a fotografia de Avatar é verde? O azul predomina ali inclusive, o filme é visualmente parecidíssimo com Aliens.
