Não machuca "Roma", por exemplo, pois acredito que a Yalitza Aparício, uma não-profissional, não esteja sindicalizada obviamente, portanto nem seria indicada. Mas é uma péssima notícia para "If Beale Stret Could Talk", pois "Vice" e "Mary Poppins" foram lançados mais recentemente do que aquele. Únicos atores que ganharam Oscar sem estarem no SAG foram Christoph Waltz (que levou o Globo de Ouro), e Marcia Gay Harden. Posted December 14, 2018 Members Report Share Posted December 14, 2018 Ainda não sei se é um épico, ou uma lírica; se é grandioso, ou íntimo; se é coletivo, ou individual; se é a história do México, ou só uma lembrança. Só sei que é o melhor filme do ano! Não vou ficar tecendo loas ao Cuarón como diretor, por que ele simplesmente não precisa mais. Quero enaltecer outros méritos, o dele, como roteirista, ao escrever um realismo tão bonito. As crianças falam como crianças - não creio ter sido algo escrito. Dá pra ver o improviso. Dá gosto de testemunhar a vida na tela disfarçada de ficção. O único momento que me pareceu artificial foi passado no plano do incêndio, mas mesmo assim - notem - justifica-se pelo figurino do ator. Achei que não precisava, mas mesmo assim, compreendo. Uma lasquinha a tirar do realismo, mas mesmo assim, justificado. Eugenio Caballero, que assina a Direção de Arte, oscarizado por "O Labirinto do Fauno", faz um trabalho excepcional. O filme é de cima a baixo lindo, e crível. As locações, a época, os automóveis antigos...É perfeito! Podemos sentir a época, a condição financeira, a desigualdade social, tudo... O som é totalmente diegético, o que pode levar à uma justa indicação, senão inesperada, na categoria de Mixagem de Som. A Fotografia é belíssima. Ouvi Cuarón dizer que a toda hora se perguntava: "O que Chivo faria?". Esta aí o segredo. Emular seu compatriota, o que não é demérito, é inteligência. É favorito ao Oscar na categoria, embora, eu, respeitosamente, ache a de "Cold War" levemente superior. Yalitza Aparício, uma simples professora, está magnífica. Transbordando humanidade e carinho. Há uma cena, quase no final do filme, que eu acabo de me inteirar que é improviso. Ela não sabia o que se passaria. Mike Leigh fazendo escola, e o resultado? Gente...de tirar o fôlego. Ela é uma atriz não-profissional, e vendo-a eu só conseguia pensar como todo mundo pode atuar! Basta introjetar o personagem e treinar seu corpo, seu aparelho humano. Stanislavski, neste momento, está orgulhoso! Sua "Preparação do Ator" está mais uma vez convalidada. É um absurdo corporativista ela não ser indicada. A cena do cartaz, na praia, é o plano mais arrebatador do ano. Sem dúvida. Mas, pra quem tem 3 anos de yoga, como eu, a cena em que a personagem dela faz um ásana de equilíbrio em meio aos homens desequilibrantes me deixou emocionado. No filme, ainda tem uma curiosa homenagem à ..."Gravidade". Achei fofo. O cinema foi parar na televisão. Obrigado, Netflix. É muito cinema, é cinema demais, é tanto cinema que eu nem sei... Na coluna de Ancelmo Gois, de O Globo, há uma notinha em que os produtores brasileiros que estão em Los Angeles para promover o nosso candidato reclamam que os grandes concorrentes contam com dinheiro público para pagar as campanhas, que consistem em: anúncios em jornais e revistas, coqueteis, convite à atores, etc. Digo eu: Aposto que há alguma grana para a campanha, não tanto quanto gostariam, mas deve haver. Ninety songs were eligible in the category. Members of the Music Branch vote to determine the shortlist and the nominees.
