Members pantalaimon Posted October 28, 2008 Members Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 Já eu amei a músca felipe, e não deve ser do Desplat, não tem a ver com ele e como a músca em filmes é quase a última coisa a ser feita, devem ter pego de outro filme, mas adorei o tom de "fantasia" dado ao teaser, e os timbres finais, dão uma certa tensão as imagens. Lembro que a música de Requiem para um Sonho foi usada em trailers do Senhor dos Anéis. Esse é disparado um dos filmes que mais quero ver ano que vem...e se conseguir minhas férias para janeiro, verei-o na estréia ou próximo disso. Será que será com esse filme a consagração mais do que merecida de mestre David Fincher? Torço mto para que sim. Cate Blanchett, linda, só pra variar...mais um motivo para assistir ao filme. Members pantalaimon Posted October 29, 2008 Members Report Share Posted October 29, 2008 O filme é cheio de motivos para assistí-lo, concordo, a Blanchett linda,sempre, e ótima, é uma das poucas atrizes que me levam ao cinema só pelo seu nome. Tem o Pitt, gosto dele, e é um filme do Finhcer, com tom de fantasia, música boa, tudo bom, acho que vou adorar. Com certeza, a maioria das músicas em trailers não são da trilha do filme por esse processo, composição das músicas, acontece quase nos últimos meses, quando o filme está praticamente pronto. Pois é, agora nunca vi isso, CGI para tornar as pessoas mais jovens; sei que eles fazem verdadeiros milagres com maquiagem, lentes especiais, mas nesse caso, foi um CGI mesmo, ela parece a Cate, é a Cate, sendo que nova, muito bom. A matéria especula justamente isso, como um filme desse orçamento pode não ter poster se já estréia no natal? Por enquanto, essa vai ser apenas a capa da trilha sonora, ninguém sabe. Se for mesmo parte do poster vai ser uma decepção pra mim, muito mal feito. The Curious Case of The Missing Benjamin Button Poster Art Posted on Monday, November 10th, 2008 at 12:48 am by: Peter Sciretta The film comes out in just a month and a half, and Paramount has not yet released a poster for David Fincher’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Not a teaser poster - NOTHING. In comparison, Watchmen comes out three months later and already has three different posters, not including the series of seven or eight character posters that were released at Comic Con 2008. Fincher is known to be extremely hands on with every single part of the production process, including marketing. Notice how the trailer for Benjamin Button is only on Apple.com? Notice how there isn’t even a non-HD download option? This is because Fincher doesn’t want you to see his trailer in anything less than High Definition. Oh, and from what I understand, he’s also a Apple/Quicktime fanatic. So the fact that we’re 44 days away from release without an official poster, doesn’t surprise me. But the official Apple trailer page has been updated with a new graphic which looks curiously like the new cover of the two-disc Benjamin Button soundtrack. I’m predicting that this is probably a piece of what we can expect from the official theatrical poster, which is probably being printed as I type this. Expect it in theaters later this week. Members MacGruber Posted November 12, 2008 Members Report Share Posted November 12, 2008 Oscar Watch: Early Benjamin Button Review One of my industry spies has emailed me an early review of David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, starring Brad Pitt as the man who ages backwards. This confirms my instinct sight unseen: this movie is in the hunt for multiple Oscars: It's magic realism propelled by extraordinary filmmaking technology but it's not remotely what I'd call cold. It creates a world of oddities and wonderful, off-kilter characters but the whole piece is anchored by a decades long relationship that gets strained, frayed, breaks and rebuilds into something profound and moving. The achievement is big and bold and ambitious and life-affirming, but the sentimentality is always toughened by the continual sense of loss and deep sadness at the transitory nature of the human condition. If it sounds like an art movie, it absolutely is, but it's a four quadrant art film! I didn't find it too heavy handed or annoyingly obvious or overreaching for that matter. There's a very sure touch and remarkably deft pacing which is essential to pulling off its balance of whimsy, weariness and wonderment. Whole bunch of Oscar noms across the board in all the major and tech categories, would seem almost certain noms for Pitt and Blanchett, Fincher, Roth, Dp, editor, etc etc. There are so many supporting roles that it will be hard to sort out noms in those categories, but if I had to call out one, it would be Jason Flemyng as Benjamin's father, as he really adds great gravity and humanity to this key role. Can't wait to see what the Fincher freaks make of it. For the record, I am not one of them. Liked fight club, somewhat annoyed by seven, didn't like zodiac all that much. so i am not a fincher kool aid drinker. he was employed here to bring a very difficult piece of material to life and he's sure put everything he's learned about bravura imagemaking/moviemaking into it.
