Que bom que ela finalmente tá aceitando papéis mais interessantes. A Vera farmiga parece tá muito bem também. ---- Slumdog Millionaire tá com uma média de notas maior (não to falando da porcentagem, e sim do score) do que Litte Miss Sunshine no RT. --- Já adicionaram outra review negativa de Australia lá. A média (6. alguma coisa) tá baixa demais pra um filme com 90% . Já já desaba, uma pena... --- ps ; Alguém esperava alguma coisa de Twilight ? Difícil até demais, mas nada é impossível. E alguém sabe quando saem as primeiras premiações da crítica? No começo de dezembro? Estou seco pelo início das premiações, pra saber se Ledger realmente irá roubar todos os prêmios ou irá dividir com Shannon, Hoffman, Fiennes e outros. Se Streep realmente é um nome a se considerar como vitoriosa, junto com Winslet. Que vai sair na frente em Ator, Atriz coadjuvante, Filme e Diretor e tudo mais. E olha que eu torçi bastante pelos indies anos passados. Ou seja, o meu problema não é com filmes independentes. É com esse! Não sei se é o ator principal, que fica me lembrando aquele personagem irritante dele em Skins. Não sei se é esse nome rídiculo (Slumdog Millionarie?). Se é essa trama envolvendo esse Show do Milhão norte-americano..hehehe. Ou se é o trailer, que não aparenta ser nada de mais! Um filminho. Tosquinho. Como vão indicar isso?Além do que, acho ridículo esse pensamento de que agora toda ano TEM que ter um independente indicado. Por que? Não pode haver 5 indicações de filmes "grandes"? Sem dúvidas é o filme mais elogiado da temporada...E agora o trailer. Talvez as cenas de luta mais impressionantes desde RAGING BULL. Os momentos em q o trailer realmente me pegou? Mickey e Tomei juntos em cena. Eles formam uma espécie de seres ordinários e despedaçados pela vida, q juntos tentam pôr algo no lugar.E a musica do Springsteen?Ahhh, vá se fuder! Será um dos gigantes do ano. OBS:E isso posso afirmar. Sempre disse e acreditei que THE WRESTLER e THE READER seriam dos gigantes do ano. E olhe que muita gente já assistiu, então as impressões aí disponíveis não se baseiam apenas em trailers, e sim na reação visceral que tiveram ao vê-lo inteiro. Eu, particularmente, achei o trailer fascinante, desde a premissa até a vivacidade enérgica que Boyle parece ter imprimido ao filme. Se Slumdog é essa coisa toda ou não só vamos descobrir mais tarde, mas é o candidato que tem minha torcida. E que, queira ou não, tem desde já bons predicados para manter-se firme na corrida. I’m going out to booze it up in the lobby with the rest of the disapponted audience. Members MacGruber Posted November 21, 2008 Members Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 Pelo que dizem a os efeitos são tão impressionantes quanto o trabalho de maquiagem, certamente vai ser indicado na categoria. ‘Button’ didn’t happen (Alright, I’m coming back to this item now that I don’t have to deal with iPhone-posting.) Tonight’s screening of “The Curious Case at Benjamin Button” was supposed to be a great night for producers Kathy Kennedy and Gary Marshall. They introduced the film as a project 18 years in the making, a true labor of love, and the crowd of press, guild members and industry types sure was excited. About a half hour into the screening, D.P. Claudio Miranda had had enough. Apparently a color channel on the digital projector was faulty and wasn’t going to be fixed any time soon. The image looked washed out but in a stylized way, so none of us really noticed. But it was painful for Miranda to watch. Publicists put the call into director David Fincher, who was on his way to the theater for a post-screening Q&A, and he made the decision: pull the plug. The audience was understandably agitated. “Come on, it looks beautiful,” one chimed in. But they all knew Miranda would have felt terrible showing his film in that fashion (and talking to some who’d see the film already, there was a considerable difference, as well as a sound quality issue afoot). “Don’t do it,” another guy said, siding with Miranda and clearly a below-the-line guy that gets it. When your art and your craft is compromised out of the gate, it’s better to cut your losses. The good news is, I hear the same thing happened to “The Pianist” and “Dances with Wolves” for their first big industry screenings. So maybe you do get a second chance to make a first impression. The SAG screening went swimmingly over at the Arclight, by the way, so there is that. But on the whole, what a bummer. Next to “The Dark Knight,” this had become my most anticipated film of the year. All of that said, I think we liked what we saw. And after just 30 minutes, I’m pretty sure the film will take the Oscars for Best Makeup and Best Visual Effects walking away. Pure magic.
